Re: Off Topic 2011
It's pretty much old age. He was either 12 or 13. He's been sick most of the summer and the vets could never figure out what was wrong with him. He was just getting scabs all over his body and he eventually looked like one whole scab. He literally looked like a zombie dog. We saw it coming as last night he was shaking all over and would lay down for half a second before hopping back up. He was also acting blind and deaf because he would not look at us whenever we said his name. He had no reaction at all which was far from his usual self.
My mom said he was worse today so she gave him a bath today and then wrapped him in a towel and said he just died in her arms after a few minutes. When I got home his kennel was gone and my mom was just laying on the couch. I ended up going out and digging a hole in the yard and we buried him. It makes me feel better to know he isn't suffering anymore. He looked terrible and had to be miserable in the state he was, so I am happy he is no longer like that.
Poor little guy was a fighter. It's sad to see him go, but it was a nice run and I loved him. Now it's just the cat and our other dog we "rescued". The other dog is a lot bigger dog(60-70lbs vs the 5lbs dog that died) and always loved playing with the smaller dog. She was never too rough with him, but she did scare him a lot. When we took him out to bury him she just looked up at us really sad and just laid there right beside the grave while we covered him back up with dirt. It's amazing how smart dogs can be and how they show emotions like humans do too.“No one is more hated than he who speaks the truth.”

I had to Bury one of my sister's baby Hamster once, not even gonna lie I broke down crying it's tough to bury anything. I also felt responsible as he had escaped from the cage and I found him late at night so as I brought him back he decided to jump out of my hands and well later that day passed awaySaints, LSU, Seminoles, Pelicans, Marlins, LightningComment
