Not that anyone cares but...
I miss Jim416 on the SCEA forums. I hope he's doing well.

Re: Off Topic 2011
Around here no.......But growing up in Chicago it was this Greek place called Yummy Tummies, I use to get a gyro from there every Friday. Did it so much the guy just stopped asking and starting fixing it as soon as I stepped through the door.
I had a place like that too in Indiana called King Gyros, they always knew what I wanted.
However in Vermont I have yet to find a place that sells gyros. So if I want one I have to drive all the way to Albany, NY to get one. That is one hour one way drive.Comment

Re: Off Topic 2011
Yes, and no. In my hometown, I do go to a restaraunt where I know the people by name and they know me by name, but it's not because I go there that often. I went to high school with most of the waitresses there, and the management are friends of my parents.
Up on campus, I don't eat off campus much at all, so a no there.Comment

Re: Off Topic 2011
When I was in college a group of 3 or 4 of us would often go to Red Lobster and at least one waitress got to know us pretty well. There was even one time when my mom and grandma had come up to take me to dinner for my bday and we went to Red Lobster and that waitress was working and asked where those other guys I'm usually with were.
I always get the same thing when I go to Subway and this one guy who works there likes to make a big deal about it.
Also, my mom told me that she goes into an Einstein's Bagels place on her way to work and gets the same thing every monrning. They know her so well there that if they see they're running low on power bagels (what my mom always gets) and she hasn't been in yet, they'll save one behind the counter for her until she comes in.Steelers : IX, X, XIII, XIV, XL, XLIII

Re: Off Topic 2011
That reminds me of last month when I went to a mexican restaurant with my roommate that we go to a lot, they have happy hour every day 2-6 pm and we were seated at 5:58. The waitress remembered that I always took advantage of the 32 oz beer and quickly came over. She pulled out her phone dramatically and looked at it (for the time) and said "just made it" in a cool spanish accent, and I was the proud recipient of a $2 32oz beer
