Me: Well, they got Crawford and Gonzalez and added guys to the bullpen.
Her: True. Last season was really bad.
Me: Hey, at least the Yankees didn't go back to the World Series again.
Her: Yeah, I wanted to see them both make it though.

That reminds me of the conversaiton I had with a girl before the NFL playoffs started. She wanted the Saints to play the Falcons in the Super Bowl. Everything got pretty awkward after that.

Oh I so hate women who wear pink hats. Whether it be the Red Sox, Cubs, Bears, Bulls or any sports team. Why ?

Because it is damn near a gurantee if you see a woman with a pink sports hat on she don't know jack crap about the sport or the team she is wearing. She is just wearing it because it is "cool" and "trendy".

My wife must be the exception. She has a pink Giants hat she wore alot last season and knows everything about that team. More than I know about the Yankees. Good wife

She has too much time on her hands. This is what happens when you're a chef...your wife has no kitchen chores and therefore takes up "man things" while you do the "woman things" ...like "zesting your chicken"

Well, looks like I might've just got hired at a restaurant that is about 2 minutes away from my house.

Walked in, filled out an application, met with the general manager who then told me he wanted me to come back Sunday for orientation so he could get me training quickly.

That right there is about 50% of "Red Sox Nation" since 2004.

Yup, and that 50% absolutely pisses me off. Luckily my mom is finally learning about the game and everything so I don't have to be annoyed when she wants to talk sports.
