Negative overall.

Positive if you are single and want to try to arrange booty calls but it's not that great when you are in a serious committed relationship imo.

You can think yourself to be the most mellow, non-jealous dude in the world but having your now wife messaged by her college boyfriend isn't going to do your relationship any favours and that sort of thing is perfect for creating trust issues in a relationship out of nothing imo. I'm glad the Mrs and I both don't have facebook accounts for that reason (amongst others).

Positive for adults, negative for youth.

Sites like eharmony, match.com, etc. have helped a lot of people find a spouse that they may not have found otherwise.

However, sexting, picture messages, texting, etc. have done horrible things to young relationships. Kids aren't learning how to interact with each other face-to-face because they can say whatever they want behind through a text message or computer. It takes the accountability out of a lot of social interactions.

Their first retail album (Fallen) was a masterpiece... Ben Moody was such a loss, though they did have great instrumental on the second... it just wasn't "the same" top to bottom, though Lithium is sexy...

Kids aren't learning how to interact with each other face-to-face because they can say whatever they want behind through a text message or computer. It takes the accountability out of a lot of social interactions.

Man that is so true!

I also believed it's also helping turn many young people into self-absorbed narcissists because their whole life revolves around taking photos of themselves to share on social media rather than actually have real social interactions with people. Obviously not everyone turns out like this and there are exceptions to every rule but some teenagers seriously lack even basic social skills these days....

A bunch of "cubs" we work with, who have a intramural team at LSU challenged us old men (ages ranging from 30-38) to a flag football game. They said that we were to old to play with them and they would even spot us 21. A ton of trash was talked before the game today and after the game there was nothing for them to say.

Because we put a 70-0 whipping on them. There was no calling off the dogs in this one. Lesson learned for the cubs.

Also that basically describes my sisters. The only reason they go anywhere to is take pictures and post them on fb.

I've been on the "cubs" side of this before. Pretty much the same result except we did score a few times. Pretty humbling experience actually, it was an annual game and we lost to the old guys like 3 years in a row, all by blowout.

edit: they outsmarted us and we didn't adjust, like this pick play they kept running over the middle and my cousin couldn't figure it out, I tried to teach him to play a zone so he wouldn't get picked every time, but that guy just never got it.
