It's not the password I created... I know that. For some reason, whenever I try to connect I need the original encryption key, which is a combo of 40 letters and numbers. I had it written down on a comcast book, but I guess when I moved I didn't bring it with me.

Oh, you mean the comcast key that you use to actually connect? Just call them and ask. They should give it to you, or at least tell you what you need to do.

I had the same problem when I had to reset my router awhile back. I called TWC and they got me up and running in about 15 seconds.

Assuming we're talking about the same thing. I have a key that I got from TWC that I had to enter in my router for it to access the internet. Maybe it is something on the router, and they just told me what it was. I can't remember exactly what I did anymore.
