So, I've finally decided to give hockey the honest shot that it deserves, after my pining for a team earlier today.

I picked Minnesota because, well, because they're the team who's games I get. So, I sit down tonight to watch my first Wild game this season, and for 59:59, it isn't all that fun. They derp a goal to Edmonton and blow the few chances they created for themselves. But it was only 1-0. And then the magic happened. Dany Heatley buries a goal from a difficult angle with 1.2 seconds left in the game to tie it, Wild win in a shootout.

That was awesome. When's the next game?

KC was never a viable option.

I don't think KC has been a viable option for a NHL/NBA team since the Sprint Center was built.

I went through the same thing a few years ago. Alot of my friends are B's fans and once I started going to games and watching the team regularly on TV I got into hockey quite a bit. At this point it has surpassed baseball and is inching ever closer to basketball in my ranking of the major sports. Hockey really is a hell of an exciting sport to watch.

There's not a genra of music that I hate (save for guys with makeup on screaming inaudible things into microphones.. but I don't consider that music) and I hate dubstep

The funny thing is though that, If you're referring to a lot of genre's of metal anyway, if, is that it takes a lot more skill and talent to play than 99% of other genre's. I'm not gonna defend the screaming too much though(even that's not easy), just that Instrumentally, those MFer's are damn good.

If you ask me hockey is probably the best sport to watch live. I haven't gone to a live football game yet though. I find the hockey experience to be very entertaining and if you're near the glass it can be an adrenaline rush when guys are getting checked into the boards.

I did not read your entire post because I don't want any spoilers for the game. I am going to watch it when I get home on game center. But I love the wild hence my username. But that team the last couple of seasons have been a fun and frustrating expierence. And I wouldn't trade a miniute of it. Hope you enjoyed the game and watch more Wild games.

I'd have to agree wholeheartedly here. I've been to a handful of Celtics games, a few Sox games, and a few Pats games. But by far the best experience and the most fun I've had at sporting events came when was at Bruins games. Hockey fans are intense as hell and don't have quite the "pink hat" fan base that some of the other sports have.

Yeah, it's one of it's defining traits. I like almost all Genre's of music(except most mainstream stuff), and I tend to like higher tempo songs with some drive, and a sense of energy, which is why I tend to lean towards Metal and Hard Rock. I'm not really too into laid back stuff for whatever reason, unless it's like classical.

Loads of differences between each genre of electro. DJing is actually quite fun, mixing each type and what not.
