 Re: Off Topic 2011

Okay so, have you guys heard about this whole "pies are in now" thing?

How the **** can pies "be in now"? It's a freakin' dessert, not clothes. How could a food product be "in"? Have we sunk as low in society now that things that are not supposed to be classified as such are now "in" or "out"? How stupid.

Please, please good Lord tell me this isn't just an LA thing.Comment

Please, please good Lord tell me this isn't just an LA thing.Originally posted by Anthony BourdainThe celebrity chef culture is a remarkable and admittedly annoying phenomenon. Of all the professions, after all, few people are less suited to be suddenly thrown into the public eye than chefs. We're used to doing what we do in private, behind closed doors.Comment

 Re: Off Topic 2011

I'm usually a party person, but this year I have little interest..

My 'buddy' and his girlfriend are throwing a party and they invited me, but I'm a little bitter with them at the moment and just don't want to go. He does a lot of **** I don't agree with (stuff that would break t.o.s. if discussed) and I just don't want to be around it anymore. It's pretty much killed our relationship and we've been good friends for a while. It's brought around company that he's welcome to hang out with, I just don't like them so I stay away..

If I didn't have to work in the morning, I'd hit up this other party that I know of, but I'm all ready exhausted from going out last night with some friends and only getting 2 1/2 hours of sleep then working all day today + I have to be back at work in the morning.

I'm just going to sit my *** at home for a while and watch some football.Comment
