Just to avoid posting in multiple threads, I have a neat trick for everyone with November birthdays. If you subtract your age and nine months from your age, you can pretty much figure out the exact day you were conceived.

Yeah, that would be my roommate freshman year. He went home every single weekend though he only lived 15-20 minutes from campus.

Lists are your friend. Just don't include them on your "Close Friends" list or whatever. It's what I do. If I don't want my parents/relatives/family friends to see something, I just make that status viewable only to my "Close Friends" list.
And I love the "People You May Know" suggestion box sometimes. I kinda laughed at this one (reconned her profile to make sure I didn't know her
).
Girl has 1 mutual friend with me (and it's someone I just met a few days ago). She's a year older than me and an art major at Stout (I'm computer science). She's from somewhere in the middle of nowhere in Minnesota (oddly enough somewhere I've heard in a completely unrelated event), and the only interests we share a we both like Dexter, Avenged Sevenfold, and Easy A.
So obviously I must know this person, right?

So I was just using my 360 and it started to smell like burnt plastic. The damn thing isn't even a year old. Never should have sold my PS3. If this thing breaks I'm done until the next generation of systems.Comment

Sucks to hear man. I'm wanting a Xbox360 just for Forza 3. Found some good deals on Craigslist, but i don't trust that site very much.
Once in a while i'll hit a dry spell with games on my PS3 and go back to some SNES gaming. That gets old pretty quickly though. Its like the thought of playing old school games is better than actually playing them.Last edited by buckeye02; 11-02-2011, 01:31 AM.PSN: buckeye02Comment

Abso-freakin-lutely.
My stepdad was sitting there talking about Altered Beast, and how awesome it was compared to some of the stuff that's out today. So I said, well here you go, I downloaded the trial on X360. Not but five minutes later he said "I wish I hadn't done that, that game sucks!"
So, let the imagination live on, but don't go rushing back..It's a tougher transition than it appears.*
*Certain games, including but not limited to: Super Mario Bros 1 and 3, Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, Mike Tyson's Punch-Out!, Street Fighter II, Mortal Kombat 1/2/3, Galaga, Pole Position, etc.....are still fun anytime.Comment

360's are a joke as far as quality goes. I was one of the lucky ones...mine lasted from December of '06 to February of '11, but that didn't come without 20 million disc read errors/freezes. I'm so hoping I get a PS3 for Christmas.
Add NBA Action '95 and Super Mario Kart to the "Old, but still playable" list.Comment
