There is an arcade bar here in Denver. They only have really old games, but it's so much fun to have a few beers and waste about $5 worth of quarters (games are only $.25 to play). Unfortunately it's packed solid on the weekends so I go pretty rarely

I've never been to Chicago, but I've heard they have an amazing arcade there..Galloping Ghost. Any OSers in CHI ever been?

All the NES Mega Man games should be on that list as well. Especially Mega Man 2.

Even though those games are controller breakingly difficult.

Ugh. There's about a 100% chance that I'm going to find and buy Mega Man Anniversary Collection now. And then spend hours upon hours swearing loudly at my TV.

Old school games time eh ??????

Wing Commander 4......That game reigned supreme for a space game for decades. It wasn't until Mass Effect series did something finally come along better. I remember on the Playstation One it came on 4 discs and had 7 different endings.

Bonks Adventure on Turbo Graphics 16 was good as well.

RBI Baseball 3, loved that game on the Sega Genesis. I literally spent my whole summer vacation playing that game all day and night.

Pole Position - I use to always win in that game.

Ridge Racer - another racing game I use to love.

Rainbow 6 Rogue Spear, loved it on the PS One. I loved the fact you could draw a path line of how you wanted your teammates to enter and sweep an area and they ACTUALLY DID IT according to how you drew the line.

Pride FC, hands down was the best MMA game ever released on consoles.

Civilization 2 - IMO the best CIV game in the series. I spent many years playing that game. Use to name cities after friends and relatives. Then when I got into the military I named it after bases and unit names.

I don't feel like making a thread, though I probably should. But I'm having issues with my PS3 connecting to PSN.

Yesterday I wanted to play some BF3, but couldn't connect to the EA servers. I thought it was just EA being difficult, until I got a message along the lines of "Cannot connect to EA online. Your connection may not be good enough for Battlefield 3. Check your network settings." What?

So I go into my network settings, and sure enough, the internet connection test fails when it gets to PSN. Then I get a PSN error that I find is something wrong on my end through a Google search. It had something to do with MTU? So I messed with settings and was able to play last night.

Computer dudes (I'm looking at you, GIGGAS) what the eff does that mean and how to I prevent it from happening again?

CALGARY, AB—Local resident Jeffrey Knutson, 34, was all set to commit suicide this week, until he learned of Lindsay Lohan’s deal to pose nude for Playboy.

“I had the pills on the table,” said Knutson. “I was literally doing the final edits on my suicide note in Google Docs.”

According to Knutson, confirmation of Lohan’s photo shoot appeared in his RSS feed while he was proofreading what was supposed to be his last email ever. He was looking for synonyms on thesaurus.com when the news broke.

“There’s been rumours about her doing this for a long time,” said Knutson. “But when her mom confirmed it on TMZ, I knew it was for real. I just couldn’t miss it.”

Knutson, a Business Operations Analyst for the city of Calgary, said he has been planning to kill himself every three or four months for at least the last five years.

The last time Knutson came this close to committing suicide, he had to postpone the event in order to watch the finals of American Idol, which, he said afterward, was worth it.

**** yeah Pole Position! I was ****ing terrible at that game, but damned if I didn't pump at least a dollar into that game every time I hit the arcade.

BTW, RIP arcades. Sad.

I miss playing The Simpsons arcade game. Killer Instinct was pretty badass too.

Set your MTU in your router to 1500. Should be good to go.
