I saw J. Edgar last night. I'm not sure how I feel about it. Leo is great, but it felt really dense. I will probably be ready to see it again when it comes out on blu ray.

How long is it and how much of Hoover's life does it cover? This is one of those movies of interest but I feel like Hollywood would sweep some things under the rug.

I don't think my arms have ever been this sore. I look like a T-Rex walking around where they're so tight they won't straighten, but instead are stuck at a near 60° angle.

It touches on most things as far as I could tell. Essentially there are two time-lines running through the movie. The "present day" one is the 60s during JFK, Johnson and then Nixon's inauguration. It uses the "memoir" formula to convey the story of his younger days, which starts with the Palmer Raids and ends with the Lindbergh Baby trial.

I found the early part of his career to be fascinating considering how truly influential he was in shaping security and policies, plus the "cases" were interesting to me. It's funny, but at times some of the scenes felt like NCIS and similar crime-scene crime drama shows. It is a good a movie and I would recommend it, but it is definitely Oscar bait and while not at all complex, it has a very dense atmosphere when it is all done. The only thing that really I could point to and say was a flaw (aside from some trite scenes between Edgar and Tolson) was the aging make-up. The majority of it was good, but some of it was kind of creepy.

Wacky weather, it was in the 30s and snowing yesterday, today it is sunny and 50s. Tomorrow and the 1st half of the week suppose to be in the 60s.

This is turning into a typical Week for me.

Chill throughout the week, go out Friday night, then work Saturday and Sunday...

Auburn/UGA starts at 2, so I've got to find a way to have my two meetings before then.. hmm..

Having a pulled muscle in your neck is terrible. I can't turn my head, yet I try to anyway and get that sharp pain every time. So I have to turn my whole body and look like a creep.

Work won't be too fun tonight. Thankfully, I'm off the next 2 days at least. Probably 3, and maybe even 4. Requested off, though those plans fell through so I may pick up Wednesday. I'll keep the 3 day "weekend."

Here's a question, why doesn't ABC change games when it's an obvious blowout? the WNY area got the Okie State/TTU game and it was over by halftime!
