    Re: Off Topic 2011

Went to Costco last night. We go and try a few samples and pretend to be interested in the product. We pick up the box and read the nutrition facts. We ask the lady where we would find them in the store. And then we never end up buying any of them. Sorry we just wanted to eat the free ones.

Awareness is fine, but it's not going to help find a cure. I'd say most people are "aware" of cancer now. It's time to move past awareness and pour all of the resources into funding research.

Susan G. Komen, for instance, only dedicates around 20% of the half-billion it raises each year to research.

          Computer question:

My awesomely fast new computer likes to do this weird thing where when I put it to sleep, then try to turn it back on, all that comes up is my desktop background and mouse cursor. No desktop icons or anything. If I right-click with my mouse, that appears, but other than that there's nothing so I just end up turning the computer off and back on again.

          Is there something going on?

Meh, I never fault people for raising general awareness for things like that. I do get tired of people asking me if I'm rocking a beard for No Shave November though. Nope, I participate in my own program called Minimal Shaves Monthly.

It's more than just that. It's to remind men of when they should start getting check-ups and the such. Sheesh, tough crowd.

I just say I'm lazy and can't be bothered with shaving. Plus it's cheaper.

Rammstein announced their 2012 North America tour for the "Made in Germany" album. Only venues that appeared to stay the same from last year's tour are Chicago, Montreal, and Vancouver. I'm not 100% sure on the Vancouver one though, they might have gone somewhere else.

So they'll be in Chicago May 4th, and Minneapolis May 8th. Now which to think about going to...

I hope they're using the extra funds for good and not going into someone's pocket. Seriously, if you start a foundation for something like cancer, there should be NO profit, AT ALL.

That's why before I donate to something, I cover my bases. Like the Extra Life gaming marathon, 100% of your donation went DIRECTLY to the hospital of choice of the gamer. No BS, all help for the people who need it.

Better than them casually slipping the fact that they have a boyfriend into a conversation. Then it becomes a game of how quickly you can remove yourself from the situation.

Think of it as a merry-go-round. You won't be the only one riding, but you might as well get on one of those horses while you still can.

That actually is the best situation, as long as you are fine with a one time thing. Part of my inability to trust woman is the fact that I had a few of these flings with girls with boyfriends. -__-

The girl I has web seeing told me her number and, well, I went for one last test drive and then broke her heart. Not going to try and reform a whore.

                              Exactly.

Which is why, when you find one, you have to keep 'em.

I should take my own advice then.

I had the chance to keep this one for however long I wanted but I literally don't know if I could get that number out of my mind. no matter how good it could've been.

Though , I do already regret it. Hoping that goes away soon.
