That actually is the best situation, as long as you are fine with a one time thing. Part of my inability to trust woman is the fact that I had a few of these flings with girls with boyfriends. -__-

I'm done with all that noise. I've learned that the less amount of drama I open myself up to, the better off I am.

I had the chance to keep this one for however long I wanted but I literally don't know if I could get that number out of my mind. no matter how good it could've been.

Though , I do already regret it. Hoping that goes away soon.

At least she was up front about it. With this latest chick, I found out through mutual friends. It's not biggie, we just started hanging out.


I just got out of a year and a half relationship, and we still talk, trying to work things out. She was a 'good' girl.

It's more than just that. It's to remind men of when they should start getting check-ups and the such. Sheesh, tough crowd.

I'm cool with that, and that's important. All I'm saying is that some of these organizations spend way too much time and effort on "awareness" campaigns and not enough on helping fund the work that will make a difference in finding a cure.

I just killed a spider in my office.

I was checking off a report against an excel spreadsheet and look over on my desk and see this spider scurry across the desk and under my printer. At first I wanted to get a picture of it to **** with you guys, but the thing wouldn't stay still for long. He maneuvered his way from underneat the printer, off the side of the desk, and to the floor. I tried to get another picture, but he was dangerously close to going to the back and I knew once he got back there my chances of survival were slim as he would return with a legion of spider soldiers and eat me alive ala Frodo. My tissue must have scared him because that little **** got behind the desk and settled next to the power strip. Despite my vivid imagination of impending spider death I remained calmed and instead of flipping my desk over, I went prone, moved the power strip out of the way and smashed the spider guts out of that little bitch.

Still, it concerns me that I have no idea where he came from.

Just came back from my eye appointment. The Ocular pressure in my left eye is 21 which is pretty good all things considered. The cornea is all cloudy and the nerve is shot to hell due to the glaucoma but that's been the status quo for about a year and a half now. My "good" eye has an ocular pressure of 18 and the cornea and nerve are healthy.

The appointment, as usual took all of 10 minutes! Luckily I don't go again until July.

Computer question:

My awesomely fast new computer likes to do this weird thing where when I put it to sleep, then try to turn it back on, all that comes up is my desktop background and mouse cursor. No desktop icons or anything. If I right-click with my mouse, that appears, but other than that there's nothing so I just end up turning the computer off and back on again.

Is there something going on?

How long are you giving it to boot up after waking it? If it's under 30 sec give it a little longer time. Are you sleeping it then waking it right after it sleeps? If you are stop. Also check to make sure you're putting it to sleep and not into hibernation. If all else fails use this every problem solver tool that I love:
