OK, let's try this. (Well, I can't figure out how to paste an excel chart in here). What I'm trying to say is that 1/4 pound of cooked meat will derive a greater proportion of its weight from the actual meat as opposed to water (which has 0 calories) than 1/4 pound of raw meat.

 Re: Off Topic 2011

Right, I get it now. I was just confused how it could gain calories while being cooked. Now I see I was inferring the label wrong and all they meant was if you weigh your patty after cooking and it's 1/4 lb it will have more calories because you used more meat. The confusion was because that would not be considered a "serving size" if 1/4 lb of raw meat is a serving, so they shouldn't be side by side on the label considering they're different quantities. Sorry OT, back to your regularly scheduled discussions.OK, let's try this. (Well, I can't figure out how to paste an excel chart in here). Just those.....They sell the oatmeal creme pies up here maybe twice a year. About the only year round Little Debbie they sell up here is the honey buns and Peanut Butter Crunch bars. Haven't seen a Star Crunch since I left the midwest.

Vermont tastes is just plain weird. They don't sell italian beef, gyros, ginger ale, star crunch, most of the national big name beers, don't sell newports or some of the other well known cigarette makers either.

And for ice cream.......forget about it. Only brands you will see is Friendlys and Ben & Jerry or store brand, that's it.Comment

My second year of college I lived with this loser that would go home to be with his girlfriend (who was a junior in HS at the time) Thurs-Sun. He would always buy these, and my other two roommates and I would always steal them. He never said anything to us. Comment

When I worked at the aftercare last year we were allowed to go into the snack closet whenever we wanted to so I'd always grab either a star crunch or a honeybun along with a caprisun or gatoradeSaints, LSU, Seminoles, Pelicans, Marlins, LightningComment

I grew up watching the Wonder Years. I thought high school would be just like that. Oh how wrong I was......nothing like the tv show at all. I was highly disappointed....LOL. That is when I quickly realized how different my neighborhood was from everybody else.Comment
