Re: Off Topic 2011
It is a chick movie.......Which means:
All the husbands and boyfriends hated it
The wives and girlfriends loved it and seen it twice already. Yes I said twice, I know at least 15 females who seen it twice already and plan on seeing it again on Thanksgiving.Comment

And 99% of them are women, so they clearly have no idea what they're talking about and in a week or so they will completely change their mind.http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/twil...breaking_dawn/
Absolutely hilarious how they smashed this movie...yet 92% (52,000 voted) of the audience still likes it

Re: Off Topic 2011
Twilight is one of those movies you prolly have to have heard or read about before unlike Harry Potter where people saw the 1st movie then people caught on to the books, etc atleast that's how it was for me. Remember I had the book but found the 1st part boring so I stopped then went to see the movie on a 3rd grade field trip and immediately read the rest.Saints, LSU, Seminoles, Pelicans, Marlins, LightningComment

Re: Off Topic 2011
I was gonna say until I read that last part. I pay $139 a month for what is probably the same package. Started at (I think) $68 a month as the new subscriber promotion when I moved into my apartment back in '07 then went to $128 a month about a year later. I'm don't remember for certain, but I may have had extra time tacked onto the promotional period after a fiasco trying to get it hooked up.How much is too much to be paying for cable?
I always see guys on here complaining about the price and talking about dropping it. I pay $72/month for Comcast HD DVR, on demand, and high speed internet (well, not their highest). But I have all the sports channels, minus NFL Redzone, but including NFL Network, NBA TV, ESPN Classic, ESPNU, etc. And I also complained and have gotten them to add Showtime and HBO for free.
Is that reasonable? I feel like it is. I'm under a promotion though.Steelers : IX, X, XIII, XIV, XL, XLIII
Penguins : 1990/91, 1991/92, 2008/09, 20015/16, 2016/17

Re: Off Topic 2011
Who goes to see a movie twice? Especially a Romance movie? They did say the last twenty minutes of the movie was awesome in a way....I only brought it up because my ten year old sister wants to see it....UGH.
The ONLY movie I would have done that for (Paid to see twice) would probably be Inception. Because I seriously did not get that movie the first time. I wasn't expecting my mind to be blown that incomprehensibly to be honest

Re: Off Topic 2011
My girlfriend asked me to see it with her. Twilight, that is.
I told her give me a few weeks. There are still people in the theaters seeing it.
I'll probably go. But she better be paying! I hardly like dropping that money on movies anyway...
Okay, reality: I'll pay for both our tickets, popcorn, and a drink, possibly some candy.

You know a franchise has become huge when garnering $139 million over the weekend is considered a "dissapointment"
Goodness gracious!Comment

Re: Off Topic 2011
Yeah.......Twilight got the teens in my area all confused now. Half of them want to be orange like the people off the Jersey Shore and the other half of them want to be ultra pale like the people off of Twilight.
They don't know what to do LOL.Comment

Re: Off Topic 2011
The reviews from critics all pretty much said their diehard fanbase (lots of chicks) would love it for being Twilight so I'm not surprised. I had friends who were complaining that reviewers said the movie was ****, which it more than likely is.http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/twil...breaking_dawn/

What is this blasphemy? You do not read Twilight, you simply avoid it.Twilight is one of those movies you prolly have to have heard or read about before unlike Harry Potter where people saw the 1st movie then people caught on to the books, etc atleast that's how it was for me. Yeah, there simply no way you COULD NOT have heard of Twilight by now. You simply ignore it and hope it goes away...The reviews from critics all pretty much said their diehard fanbase (lots of chicks) would love it for being Twilight so I'm not surprised. I had friends who were complaining that reviewers said the movie was ****, which it more than likely is.

Who goes to see a movie twice?
Obviously you don't have kids or nieces or nephews.......I was dragged to see Happy Feet 5 times. Seen Mega Mind 3 times. And when Toy Story movies come out.......forget about it, practically lived in the theatre.Comment

My tightend leads my fantasy team in catches. In a point per reception league.
I lost because New England put up 31 points on defense last night. Thanks Kansas City you ****ing losers.
I've given up on my league now.
Well, Andre Johnson is coming back. This was a really bad week for my whole team. I've said that a lot this season... nothing has worked.NHL - Philadelphia Flyers
