I'm excited to get to my grandmothers. My mom is making potatoe salad and a peanut butter cake (she's the only one who can come close to my grandmother's pb cake). I made a hamburger pie and a chocolate/banana cream cake (something I stole from a recipe book)..Comment

Happy Turkey Day to all!!
I'll be grilling a nice porterhouse steak and having some awesome homemade scalloped potatoes, and green beans. It's far from traditional but it's going to be a feast.I've heard this "patience is a virtue" junk all my life. I'm happy to say I have no virtue, no scruples, and no desire to wait too long for anything. In my humble opinion instant gratification takes too long!

Whats Thanksgiving without some holiday drama ? Some holiday drama texted from friends and relatives around the USA this afternoon.
1. One of my friends just found out a guy we went to high school with but never was friends with is now dating his mom. He arrived at his mom house this morning and saw him there and was like why are you here ? Mom says son this is my boyfriend, we been together since March. Talk about awkward......
2. One of my cousins left his wife to start dating her best friend......Both women showed up at my aunt house this afternoon.
3. Another friend found out his wife has been lying about going to work. Her job called last night and he picked up the phone. They said to tell his wife to turn in her ID. He was like why ? Company said she hasn't showed up for work in over 30 days.
Apparently the chick went to school for nursing, got a degree in it but don't like nursing hours of doing 10 and 12 hour shifts. So instead of going to work, she just been going to the movies and different friends houses all day.Comment

Well...I'm worried
So my mother has been having a lot of pain in her leg which we all thought was due to arthritis and so she went to her doctor. The doctor said he wasn't sure what it is but it could be a burst blood vessel or a blood clot.
So my mother goes to the first of 2 tests today and it turns out it's a very dangerous blood clot and she's in Emergency right now.

I think somebody's effing with me.
I go outside earlier today to get in my car and it's covered in some kind of salt-like substance, no idea what it is. Not to mention somebody drew a big detailed penis on my windshield and on my passenger side window, smfh.
Now the cops just showed up at my apartment. They said somebody called in and reported a fight. They gave the number but not the letter. I haven't seen anybody else around my complex in days. They also said whoever called said the people fighting sounded hispanic. Definitely no hispanic people around here.
