I need some help from my OS brethren.

I've been looking for a job for the past month after relocating to be closer to the wife. Things haven't been going so well with the search. There just aren't a ton of opportunities in the sports industry around the Seattle area right now. However, there is a job at University of Washington that I am pretty damn qualified for and if it's any other school I would have applied a week ago.

Here's the thing though, I HATE UW. I hate everything about them. I despise every sports team they have, their coaches, their fans, everything. I would have to wear Husky **** all damn day, be a part of their Athletic Department, etc., but it would also be a good opportunity career-wise for me to stay in sports which is what I'd love to do.

This job would be like GIGGAS working for Virginia, Husker working for Auburn, or goh working for any videogame company.

Should I apply?

Of course you should. There is no such thing as loyalty in the business or sports world. Go apply and get paid.

Or you could apply and do a crappy job on purpose. Hurt the UW Athletic Department and get paid in the process. Think of it like your a spy doing an inside job.

My "children" would use their noses to find me again, then jump around all excited and attempt to tell me how awesome their adventure was.

Yes. I'd apply to a K-State or Missouri AD related job in a heartbeat.

I'm so tired of sports games trying to decide the outcome of the game.

I was just playing a CH2k8 game and was leading by 10 points with a minute left, then suddenly the computer starts doing miraculous **** and they even nail a 3 with 5.5 seconds left to take the 3 point lead. Somehow, I get down the court and jack up my own 3 and it goes in to send it to OT.

In over time, I got up by 3 myself, but it seems everything quit working and I couldn't score again until the CPU scored.. then same thing happened all over again and I couldn't score until the CPU scored.. then they go on some ridiculous 10-0 run, knocking down 3 back to back 3 pointers with a hand in their face and I end up losing in OT..

I was dominating the entire game and then the CPU flips a switch and It's damn near impossible to win.. I hate that ****.

So, in summary, you hated the Iron Bowl last year. The Michigan - Notre Dame game really sucked too. Rubber band all 4th quarter. Might as well play NFL Blitz.
