Depends if you are on D-Day status already. If you are, kiss your job good bye. If not, then you will just get written up, given the talk about morals of Walmart blah blah blah.

Probably hurt since it is a large company. They seem to follow their corporate policies pretty strictly.

        I hate that doctor's note ****.

There's been plenty of times where I've been sick, sick enough to not feel up to getting off the couch that day, but not sick enough to go to the doctor. I don't go to the doctor for every ****ing sniffle, you know?

That's what I'm thinking, I would have just explained something like that.

There was a time I had to the doctor the day after I was sick, even though felt fine, just to get a note. Doctor just gave me one anyway, even though I could have been full of it.

We have sick/personal hours at work, so no doctor excuse is necessary.

I came down with a virus a few weeks ago and called in and there was no hassle.

Yeah. My work lets you call out as much as you want, which is great but sucks when someone else does it. Ha

Anything over 3 days and we have to present a doctors note.

Yeah, we have PTO which we can take at any time. Generally, unless you're sick, management wants you to make it a few weeks in advance.

There's also CAT leave, which is in case you break 15 bones or something. That requires a doctor's note.

All was good last night. I walked in with no doctor's note and, surprisingly, they didn't give a ****. Likely because it was my cool and reasonable duty manager working last night, so that was good.

Besides, it's Christmas, they're desperate for workers, and I've been told on more than one occasion by more than one person that I'm a good employee there, so it shouldn't have really mattered regardless.

Man, I used to love getting my games at Toys R Us as a kid. Getting those little yellow sheets of paper to get what you want was awesome.

We have no running water at work today — apparently a water main burst near here. So our manufacturing plant is shut down, and the office people have the option of working from home or staying here.

I wish someone would have told me that before I drove 30 miles into work today.
