Re: Off Topic 2011
Wow, so time for another crazy story in the OT thread.
I just got a couple texts from my mom and apparently my sister found and exchanged messages with a cousin noone has seen in probably more than 25 years. He is my mom's brothers son, but my uncle divorced my cousins mom back in the early 80's when he was around 6 and his mom took him to California or someplace. At the time, I was an infant and neither my sister nor any of our 6 other cousins were born yet. Well, my uncle apparently never made any effort to re-establish contact and is now estranged from the family since my grandfather passed away. However, a few years ago my aunt found a person on FaceBook with the same name and year of birth living in the same neighborhood where I grew up and where my grandparents lived (He's 36 so could easily have moved back to the area). My aunt never managed contact him but saw that he was FB friends with another one of my cousins (this cousin being on my dads side of the family). I tried to email my cousin about it, but never got a response. Now apparently my sister found him on FB and sent him a message and he replied confirming that he is indeed our cousin. Crazy stuff! Not sure yet what will come of it or if we'll all get together or anything, but still pretty cool.Steelers : IX, X, XIII, XIV, XL, XLIII

I have Christmas lights but no tree, I'm considering making a tree on the wall out of the lights.I've heard this "patience is a virtue" junk all my life. I'm happy to say I have no virtue, no scruples, and no desire to wait too long for anything. In my humble opinion instant gratification takes too long!

You know what's funny to me is, my definition of cheese is soooo much different than everyone elses around here.
