You ever have that moment where you don't know what the **** you want to do with your life?

This year in sports has kind of murdered my enthusiasm for what I'm going to school for. I don't want to cover this **** for a living anymore. Between child rape, plane crashes, and performance enhanced cheating (allegedly) I feel like I'd just end up suicidal.

I just don't have the passion for this that I did before. It's soul crushing ****, and I'd rather keep my distance from it instead of being income dependent on it.

Just started working on a project tonight that is due by 11:45 am Friday. We received the details on this project nearly 8 weeks ago because it is such a "big" project. Well, I knocked out over 2/3 of it tonight in just a couple of hours and will easily have it all finished over the next two nights, possibly tomorrow night depending on how much time I get with the gal pal.

I hate the stress procrastinating leads to, but I love that feeling of accomplishment I have right now where I know I am going to finish this thing in 2-3 days and it will be in better quality than the majority of the other students'.

Is it strange that I plan on gong into that field as well, and while I find the news disturbing/depressing, it hasn't turned me away from wanting to do that in the least.

As much as we'd like to pretend it's not, sports is just an extension of the real world and the real world is a ****ed up place. In a perfect world, things like that wouldn't happen, but they do. You just need to remember why you watch sports in the first place:

So lately at work I've been encountering an unusually high amount of banging a'.... ok let's just say gorgeous women.

and on the Inside I'm like....

but on the Outside I have to remain a cool customer, professional, and give off that rugged bad boy persona.

but man it's hard not to take that second, maybe third look.

Eh, women like to held to a pedestal every once in a while. If you're too "bad ***" she'll think you don't have a soft side which is always good to have as a contrast, course this is coming from a guy who's never been afraid to show that even to my detriment.

I crack myself up... My jokes probably aren't even that funny, but they make me laugh all of the time and I guess that is all that matters really.

My best friend wrote on his GF's wall a "sweet" message that joked about them feeling like it's been 50 years since being with her was so stressful(he's sarcastic like me and it was a joke). I commented saying "You think xxx is stressful" hinting at my GF being more stressful. Then she said' I know right, I'm an angel." I came back with' "If you're an angel, you must be Lucifer...."

I thought it was funny... too bad I put angle and not angel in my original response.
