 Re: Off Topic 2011

Surprised the one near me hasn't closed for pretty much the same reason. Wal-Mart and Fred Meyer's aren't that far. Target/Towne Center is even closer. All of them have parking lots at least 5x fuller than K-Mart.Originally posted by BlueNGoldI feel weird for liking a post about exposed penises.Comment

 Re: Off Topic 2011

I can't think of even a single KMart around here, but there is still a Sears anchor store in the Emerald Square Mall in the next town over. I actually went shopping there with my mom and picked out some work clothes for Christmas.

Edit: Let's really not get this thread closed before Saturday night. I only need about 10 more posts to get to my goal of 450 for the year. C'mon nowPatriots

I can't even remember the last time I went to a K-Mart much less seen one. Must be 15 years ago at the very least.Member of the Official OS Bills Backers Club

 Re: Off Topic 2011

I saw some nice aerial shots of the New Orleans Supercone while watching the New Orleans Bowl.
 _____
As for Sears and KMart, none are closing locally but a few are closing in the Eastern part of the state. I was rather surprised that the Sears in the near dead Century III Mall wasn't on the chopping block.Steelers : IX, X, XIII, XIV, XL, XLIII

 Re: Off Topic 2011

Kmart is pretty big in the midwest, can't go too far in IL and IN without coming across one. In the 90s they pretty much took over all the Ventures old stores and slapped their name Kmart on it.

Where I live at now, Kmart is the premiere store. Because that is all you have is Kmart or small regular Walmarts. I get all my games that I don't buy online from Kmart.

I mean really I racked up so many $20 off coupons from Kmart that I haven't paid full price for a game in quite a while.Comment
