It's an option, but I can't wait any longer...I could technically pay retail for it but I need to save money for this loan payment I have and to fix my car. I'm contemplating going to apply for a bank loan tomorrow so I can just get it.

Nah man, don't do that. Just wait a few days and the urge will go away. If not, wait a few more days until you have enough cash and then grab it.

Dude, I've been waiting for this phone for almost 4 years, lol. My upgrade isn't until June of 2012, so I'm screwed. It's more the fact that my mom got one just to spite me, so I want to get one to shut her up, but I really want this phone. I'm sick of the Palm Pre and its useless app catalog.

I did, but I have this stupid student loan BU screwed me over with that's $50 a month and my car needs a few replacement parts that will run me around $200. Plus I lost $160 playing poker two weeks ago.

According to this post, you should probably save whatever money you have - The iPhone can wait.

I'm at a loss for words right now. All this money I've saved is about to be completely gone.

-College screwed me over with financial aid, have to pay $50 a month
-Just had to pay roughly $200 to get my car fixed
-My work took next to nothing out of my paycheck for federal taxes, so I'm probably going to have to pay a few hundred

I want to break things.

So you are going to get a loan for a $649 phone. Do you understand the concept of interest? Your must have $649 phone is going to be more than that. A unsecured loan(more likely credit card) is going to carry an interest rate of most likely 15-18% if you have good credit. That makes your phone at the very min, $749. So you're willing to shell out an extra $100 at least to buy a phone today that will be "obsolete" in a year or so?

You have $649 to spend you say but barely. Ok...minus $200 means that you have $449, minus $50 means that you have $399. Seems to me that you're more than half way there, and would be wise to save money and buy the thing when you can afford to.
