There's a difference between a pair of shoes (a necessity) and two phones (one being functional, and the other being a lot of optional features that are not necessary for a phone). Don't you at least see that?

At the same time, just because you're raised one way doesn't excuse your behavior for the rest of your life. Be responsible with your money, or you will be in massive debt aqnd you will not be able to get out. Start the change now. Tour phone works. Its not flashy, but it is functional. Stick with it, save the money responsibly, and get it when you legit have the money. None of this bull**** take out a loan. That's what you do for a car or a house, NOT a phone.

Well, see that's what I usually do too. But I had no idea what the hell this guy wanted. He didn't look like your typical guy trying to sell you stuff(and he wasn't selling anything, he was just reminding people of religion or getting them informed basically). Then he said he's a "witness" and me, not being religious, had no idea what that is. I asked him and he starts telling me some story about Jesus' death. Honestly I was confused on what he wanted and why he was there and he didn't do a good job of telling me. Once I realized what was going on, we were already 5 minutes into the conversation and I'd feel like an *** telling him to go away at that point. It's not like I had anything better to do anyway lol.

Usually I do tell them I'm not interested and shut the door almost immediately after. But with this guy I was genuinely confused. It was really weird.

Yes, but then there's the whole issue of my mom getting it just for the sake of getting it, knowing how badly I want one. You have no idea how infuriated I am over this...I really have no desire to speak to her again.

OMG so this guy I met...he was nice. He works for a car dealership, just a nice guy. He helped me fix the rims on my car and has been super friendly. One night me and my girl went out with him to uptown Charlotte. It was a really fun night and he paid for everything.

Naturally we exchanged numbers for business, or so I thought.

Guys, he's gay. He sends the most inappropriate texts. So for about two months I ignored his texts. He didnt' send many, I think he got the hint.

Then I thought about if I need some stuff done to my car. So he sent a text and I responded.

So now he is starting to send more. Example topics:

Talks about penis size, wanting to know mine.
Talks about my girl and if we have relations often.
Talked about getting a hooker and sharing her...with him.

I still can't ignore him because if I need tires or anything with my car he's a great connection!

I am disgusted with myself lol

You're letting her win. She wanted to get a reaction, and she is getting it. Don't talk to her again if you don't want to and you don't rely on her. I haven't relied on my father since I turned 18, and I have no obligation to talk to him.
