I'm getting more into baseball and wanted a team. I live in SW Ohio and since I'm not a fan of any Ohio team, I'm kind of settling on the Reds. I feel like a bandwagon fan though since they bad a good year last year, so I kind of want a different team. I just like the idea of only being an hour away from the games.

no reason to feel like a bandwagon fan. They are your "hometown" team. Now if you settled on the Yanks or BoSox or someone along those lines, yes, you would then be a bandwagon fan.

Why can't you get into baseball?

For me, it's their broken and completely unfair economic system between teams, along with the culture of the sport that goes out of its way to justify human error in the officiating.

I was like this until I looked at my like of basketball. To me, the sports are one in the same except the speed is a little faster in one. I dont mind baseball being so slow. Something about the atmosphere makes it ok.

Even though the Indians are further away, you should do a road trip to both stadiums and see a game in person. Then you can make the right call that way

I don't have any jerseys, just the t-shirts with the player names on the back. I have a Ortiz, Pedroia, Howard, Halladay, and soon I'll have a Crawford and Gonzalez.

And I still can't decide on a red or blue Crawford shirt. I wanted a blue Gonzalez one, but they don't have it and I'm thinking I should get it blue since all my other ones except for Ortiz are red.

I don't really watch baseball so much as I do as listen to it and just watch an inning here or there and in key situations. With the Marlins being on almost every game they pay I just throw the game on when i'm home and on the computer,etc.

Every year me and family since they are Braves fans go down for a few Braves/Marlins games. Sadly I enjoy it more on TV then sitting at a Marlins game with 10 other fans near me.
