Have a particular one in mind?

I have a few....been looking at Tomshardware chart lately:

Thinking of getting either the following:

GTX 580
GTX 560 TI
HD 5870
HD 5770

All depends...... I know I just want one, my mobo doesn't do SLI.

Other than that though my mobo is pretty good though, it can handle up to 16 gb of DDR3 ram, it has 4 slots and I am only using 3 slots so far.

I'm going to play some 3 on 3 basketball on my lunch break with some guys from work. This could be fun/interesting. I haven't played bball in about 10 years so, I will definitely be a little rusty.

What do you do for a living ?

That's awesome Dookie. It sure is amazing how much detail ultrasound can resolve these days.

It is pretty crazy. He still don't show his face much, like he's shy or something... but he has been showing off his package. By the size of it, he is way bigger than I am already, so I may need a paternity test after birth.

I must say I am really enjoying my new AMD Quad Core 3ghz PC. With the 6 gbs of Ram, this thing is a beast. Runs through programs like a hot knife through butter.

Only thing that is needed is a powerful graphics card.

I took your advise in getting a laptop with at least 3 gigs and I'm in love with this thing as well. It doesn't sound up to par with yours exactly, but it's really awesome considering what I had before.

256 ??????? WOW.....He must be running Windows 2000. Because even with XP, 256mb makes XP lag. Better head over to Newegg, RAM is cheap nowadays.

If I remember right, he said it was like a 1.8ghz, So it's probably a pentium or celeron if it's an intel, could be some kind of AMD processor though.

Hey its cool.....You need to read up on that stuff though man. So when you do buy another PC or build one yourself, you won't get lied to by sales associates at retail stores.
