Re: Off Topic 2011
My name is always spelled wrong no matter what. Even when it's printed on a paper by me, I still end up with Terrance instead of the actual spelling Terrence. My work nametag had it wrong. How does that even make sense after I've already been there for about 3 months and everything else I had there had my name on it correctly?Just random little "rant" here...
I hate when people, after I tell them my name is Greg, ask if I spell that with one or two 'g's. I have never met, or seen, anyone that spells it "Gregg" aside from as a last name, so please stop ****ing asking me.
If I feel like being an ******* to the person, I generally respond: "Two. One at the beginning and one at the end."Originally posted by BlueNGoldI feel weird for liking a post about exposed penises.Comment

Oh people spell my 1st and last name wrong all the damn time........It always did annoy me. That is as bad as people using the full version of my name, even though that isn't my name. Then they will say well your name is short for that.
I always say AND ????????? On my birth certificate it doesn't have that written on there, therefore it isn't my name.Comment

Re: Off Topic 2011
It seems like everyone butchers my last name whenever they see it for the first time. It's not even hard to pronounce at all, people can just be really dumb, and not even take 2 seconds to actually read it right.Just random little "rant" here...

Re: Off Topic 2011
I have a serious question. What is the benefit of having Police on a bike in a neighborhood?
Bikes can go a lot of places cars can't. Bikes are smaller and more nimble to weave in and out of traffic. And if need be, can go on the sidewalk to pursue a criminal.Comment

Yea that is what I was thinking, but, I feel like bikes are more suited for the city than a neighborhood, which is why I askedEagles | Phillies | Sixers | Flyers

Banana Runts ftw.Originally posted by Anthony BourdainThe celebrity chef culture is a remarkable and admittedly annoying phenomenon. Re: Off Topic 2011
I think it has more to do with money. The cops on bikes out here are to save money on car maintance. At least that is what they said. Also you can have more on duty if you don't need a squad car.Comment

Re: Off Topic 2011
This is pretty true actually. I'm liking the whole 'Bringing the Ban Hammer' thing ryan's got going on right now, he would make a pretty good superhero character..Just want to stop in and say how thankful I am for OS. The way it's ran and moderated makes it so much better than any other site out there. It's not even close really.

Re: Off Topic 2011
Not sure how many Rammstein fans we have here on OS, but they're touring Canada and the US in May.
I wasn't able to go to the New York concert in December (lack of funds for plane/hotel/tickets). But knowing they'll be as close to me as Chicago, I really want to go to that one.Comment
