Hell no. If anywhere north of, say, Baton Rouge claims to have good cajun food, odds are they're lying and it taste like ***. Or they just have no idea what cajun is. And i'm sure jmood can back me up on this

I'm not a great judge of what cajun is, but I work with a man who's about as Cajun as I've ever met and he's from Louisiana. Still has the ridiculously strong accent too. He makes a pretty mean gumbo... good stuff.

I learned how to cook everything cajun like my mom does cause i'd always want it for dinner and she never wanted to cook.

My grandma showed me a video of my 1st day of Kindergarten back in Louisiana, I had such a southern accent "I ain't goin to no school". Now i'm all citified

Another thing. I could not pick out a LA accent out of a lineup. But when I would go Bama or north Mississippi I would come home with the thickest southern accent ever, it almost sounds fake. Thats why I'm scared to go to Boston lol.
