Re: Off Topic 2011
I was having a great time with Far Cry 2 (PS3)...until yesterday. I couldn't take anymore the lack of hitting enemies. I mean, I'm shooting a whole magazine into a guy and it either barely hurt him, or doesn't even hit him. I'm pretty sure I was in the last third of the game and up to that point I was willing to ignore this and enjoy the game as possible. Yesterday, though, I had enough. I quit the game, deleted all my saves and promised myself it's going back to Gamestop for a trade-in. I was so mad...LOL!
I really want to play GRAW2, so I may pick it up sometime soon.My Specs:

I wonder what the FDA would estimate the maximum allowable to safely consume in a 24-hour period is. I'm at four right now.Ryan Spencer

Dam. I don't know but eventually your bowels are going to give up...
I remember when I was in my 20's my taco bell feasts consisted of,
1 burrito supreme
2 taco supreme
2 double decker tacos
1 nacho grande
1 large Seirra Mist
Every time. Probably once every other week. I can't believe I survived that....Originally posted by Anthony BourdainThe celebrity chef culture is a remarkable and admittedly annoying phenomenon. I think I'll go ahead and say I got my money's worth on this deal and move back to ham sandwiches and grilled chicken salads.Ryan Spencer

Taco Bell's one of those things that you know it's bad for you and that the quality is cheap. However, once you start eating it, the food does actually taste good.
Steak quesadillas at Taco Bell or pretty good. And Mountain Dew Baja Blast is probably the 2nd best Mountain Dew.Twitter

Anymore, I can't choke down a couple regular tacos before feeling crappy. Although, I still love me a burrito supreme every once in a very great while.Originally posted by Anthony BourdainThe celebrity chef culture is a remarkable and admittedly annoying phenomenon. Re: Off Topic 2011
Alright, small dilemma today. Job related.
I work at company A. I do my share of complaining about it, but I ultimately enjoy it. The team I work as part of is awesome, and I feel like we're all friends. I've been here for roughly a year and nine months.
An external friend from Company B let me know that I would fit into a job opening they have. Their company is a very large one, but everyone there seems to enjoy it a lot. It would also give me roughly a 14% raise. One problem I can see is that there's a feeling that this company expects more than 40 hours a week from its employees, although my friend didn't have that same feeling.
In my profession, it seems that the only way to get a substantial raise is to jump companies. It's not a given that I'd get the job, and I haven't put in a resume yet. I did interview there when I graduated college, but did not get the job for some reason. My friend told me that it's not a major problem, as he didn't get hired after his first interview either.
So... do I put in the resume? I'm worried that I'll jump ship, and realize that I loved it here. I might be in line for a promotion (which might be anywhere from 7-10% raise as well), although I'm not sure that I will. I'm a bit wary of only being at a place for a year and nine months before I start looking for something else, but my friends tell me that it's not a major problem. I'm a bit nervous about this. That 14% raise looks really good.
Any advice?Rose City 'Til I Die
