The misinformation about that tsunami is just flying around the office among the usual talkers here this morning. "I can't believe there's only 50 deaths." Yeah, probably gonna be a bit more than that.

I just heard an argument about whether it was 3 in the morning or afternoon in Japan when it hit. County tax dollars at work here, folks.

It's ok this inspired a debate in my Gov class about comparing disasters mainly what was worse Hurricane Katrina or Andrew. What's the point they were both bad, I was pretty close to knocking this one kid out for his comments. Time to listen to music/sleep through the day until noon

What a knucklehead. Any natural disaster (or disaster of any kind for that matter) is tragic and bad no matter how much or how little it costs to get things back to normal.

All I can is, thank goodness the epicenter was in the ocean rather than on land in Japan. It would've been 10x worse over there. It's also a great relief to know that Japan has the world's best earthquake proof buildings and contingencies.

Still it's quite tragic and thousands have lost lives. My heart goes out to all the victims.

I didn't want to start a thread for this, but my sister keeps sending involuntary fraudulent emails out to her entire list of contacts. The emails contain links that take you to a malicious site.

How does she get rid of this?
