On the topic of which team I'd like to see when a championship most I definitely would say the Lions.

I've seen the Wings win, I've seen the Tigers ALMOST win (and I guess saw them win as a toddler), seen Michigan win (football and basketball), seen the Pistons win, and seen the Lions... produce Barry Sanders.

Mine is far and away the Orioles winning a World Series. Duke last year was good, but I'd cry like a schoolgirl if the O's won.

Speaking of 4th down monsters, Josh Cribbs didn't do much for the Browns this year. He had some nagging injuries, but he also signed a contract extension the past offseason. He doesn't seem like the type of guy who loses that edge when he signs a new contract, but this year he was very disappointing.

On the topic of which of my favorite teams I'd like to see win the whole thing, it's a 3-way tie. Unfortunately, it's not happening for any of them in the forseeable future. The reasons for each:

The Cavs to stick it to LeBron
The Indians because they've been the closest
The Browns because it would mean the most to the city

Wife and I are going to start car pooling to work everyday to save on gas, we both have to fill up once a week. So that will be good.

what will be bad is, she has to be at work at 7;30, I don't have to be at work until 8:15 and are jobs are like 100 yards away from each other. So 45 minutes in my car. Doh!

Couldn't agree more honestly. My post was merely a joke. I was the one that asked why you guys cared so much about who created the thread. It's just a thread!

And Scott, you have no room to be correcting everyone's grammar.

My post wasn't specifically directed at you but, to the thread as a whole.

OK new subject. What is your favorite cereal?


My favorite cereal is Corn Pops.

Cereal is my weakest and I love a ton of them but, Frosted Mini Wheats is by far my favorite. For some reason I like the Big Bites over the Bite Size. I can probably eat a whole box of them in 3 sitting's.

Those are all great cereals. OK next subject. A lot of members here like many sports. Which of your favorite teams do you want to see win a Championship more? Here is example of what I mean. I like the Vikings, the Sharks, and the Giants. But I want the Sharks to win a Cup over anything.

I'd have to go with GB but, only because they're in the longest drought. Also, I think guys like Rodgers, Driver and Woodson deserve one.

So my wife is watching coupon hoarders on tv. Women and men who obssessed with coupons to the point they dive into dumpsters looking for coupons. Then hit up the grocery store with 9 shopping carts full of stuff.

Seen one fat lady and her husband get $1,200 worth of stuff in 9 shopping carts, but only had to pay $41 for it because the coupons covered the rest. That is insane......

Damn house stuff to the ceiling with can goods, toliet paper, cleaning supplies etc. Even the spare bedrooms and garage is loaded with stuff. Just craziness....

So many damn coupons they froze the damn cash registers.

My gf told me about that. It's really hard to believe but, I guess it's true.

And since we are on the order we do things......I will throw in some wood to the oddness fire.....

1. Do you put your socks on 1st or your pants on 1st ?

4. Do you color match your undies with your clothes ?

5. Do you and your wife or GF try to color match when going out ?

I eat them together.


7. Do you lay out what you going to wear the next day before you go to bed or do you just wake up and look for something then ?

I decide in the morning.

If you put milk in first you can have the cereal floating on top of milk, then I think its best to push the cereal under the milk with the spoon...Just tastes better to me, rather than pouring milk on top of the cereal.

Plus I drink all the milk after, so you can never have "too" much milk..Which I have heard people argue.

I pour the cereal first. However, I'm a little OCD like that with my sandwiches. When a sandwich requires mayo and cheese, the cheese has to go next to the mayo.

Steak dish, you mean like steak tips and new potatoes..or like a top sirloin and baked potatoes?

If by steak dish you mean a nice steak on it's own with a side, you can't go wrong with a top sirloin seared to medium rare seasoned with salt and pepper and topped with softened butter and carmelized onions. Fairly economical for a nice steak dinner. Just be sure you don't cook it any more than medium or tops begin to get a little dry and tough. Serve with a baked potato and fresh salad greens.

Or there's dishes like where you can use any kind of cheaper stewing beef we'll call it "steak" in this instance and add a few veggies and a sauce and braise it till tender.


Edit: See my avatar lol I just noticed that. The one in the pic is actually a Rib-eye though. Not considered economical.

My gf and I work together so we carpool everyday. It's pretty nice except for listening to Cosmo radio every now and then.

Our rule is - Whoever is driving gets to control the radio. I drive pretty much every time, so sports talk it is.
