Perdicament:

Got invited to this party on Saturday...all the girls are pretty attractive, but we've known them for like a year, so I figure if they thought I was attractive I would know by now, so the chances of anything good happening are slim. However, every time we go there it's pretty fun. This is my problem...my one friend who I go with is in London. The other one I go with is occupied by his 17 year old, and my other friend has a girlfriend. As I said previously, I'm near useless alone talking to girls wise. Do I:

A) Go alone
B) Don't go alone

Just be as social as you can. Just do it. Don't even think about what the people there will think of you. Just talk to the girls.

You'll be proud of yourself at the end of the night, guaranteed. And you'll get better without a "wingman" by doing this.

This. However, you can't stay all quite and shy either. Most girls aren't ever going to go for guys who are "wall flowers". Here's something that I would do. Bring whatever alcohol the girls like then, get them to play a drinking game. My personal preference is King's Cup because it's more of a social game but, most any drinking game will do. Now here's the key- Before you start playing make this statement: "Alright everyone listen up. Before we start this game I just want to go ahead and apologize in advance for anything I may say or do tonight. Now let's play". (or something along those lines)

It may sound cheesy but, it has worked for me quite a few times. Especially, if I'm with a crowd of people that I don't know that well. Most people seem to think it's funny. Plus, by saying this you have absolved yourself in case you do or say anything stupid. So you don't have to worry about that. You can just be yourself and have fun. Then, if by chance you do say or do something (like make fun of someone or whatnot) then you can say "hey remember I already apologized earlier" and laugh. But, just keep in mind what Stroehms said and don't be an ***hole. I think you will be fine and if you play it right, who knows? You might even be the life of the party.

I mean, we've been to their parties before and they seem to like me, I'm just not sure if I'm friend zoned or what. And I don't want to seem like "that guy" showing up solo...especially since I don't talk to them that much. I know I'll have fun if I go, it's just working up the courage to actually go
