I don't really feel that way, but I'm 21 and own a few jerseys.

I never wear them. I just collect some.

I like to collect them too. I had a massive amount as a kid, but who knows where they got to. Right now I have:

Shawn Kemp (Sonics)
Penny Hardaway (Magic)
Amare Stoudemire (Suns)
LeBron James (Cavs)

I rarely wear the Kemp/Hardaway jerseys and haven't worn the LeBron or Amare jerseys since middle school. I'd like to get a few football jerseys, but they're so ridiculously expensive.

I wear my MJD jersey any time Jacksonville plays, the Super Bowl, and the draft. That's it.

I'm actually a bit superstitious about it: in the Oakland game, I forgot it for the first half and the Jags were down at half. We were at my mom's house watching it (Sunday Ticket) so I had to run home at halftime, find it, and come back. Jacksonville won the game.

I starting feel a little superstitious about one of my AU hats, last year. I woudn't be wearing it and we would be getting smashed and I put it back on and the comeback ensues. It could just be that we were destined to come from behind and win, but I wouldn't chance it. After a few weeks, I made sure I was wearing it every game day. I won't wash it and it's white.. so I'll probably be retiring it now and rocking a different hat next year

Just getting into the jersey game. Right now I only have Home Ravens Rice and Throwback Phillies Howard (in the mail.)

I have some extremely old Falcons Vick and Terrell Owens Eagles somewhere in this house, but I outgrew those years ago. They're screenprinted anyway.

I wear my Cowboys jerseys pretty much year-round. Yeah, I'm one of <i>those</i> guys, lol.

Right now I've got jerseys of Tony Romo, Troy Aikman, Emmitt Smith, Dez Bryant, Roy Williams (safety), and Quincy Carter. Yes, Quincy Carter.

I used to be extremely superstitious. That is until the Colts lost to the Jets this past year and now I'm completely giving it up. It's stupid and it's annoying dealing with it. Whatever I do has absolutely no affect to the game.

I used to wear my home Bob Sanders or home Peyton jersey for every Colts home game and my Reggie Wayne away jersey for every Colts away game. If I forgot to wear my jersey and we were losing, I'd quickly run and put it on. And if we ended up winning, it'd only continue this ridiculous superstition that somehow my jersey made us win, lol. Actually this past year, I didn't wear a jersey vs the Texans and Jags and the Colts lost both games. I wore my jersey for every other game and at one point I think I was like 5-0 when wearing a jersey and 0-2 when not wearing one.

I'd also rarely predict games as I felt like I might jinx them. There are various other little things here and there. Like last year for the Super Bowl, I watched the game at my house with my dad who is just as big of a Colts fan as I am. Late in the 4th quarter my mom comes into the living room to turn off the light. I told her not to, but she did anyway. I'm not kidding you.. 2 plays after she turned it off Peyton throws a pick 6. So in my head I'm thinking my mom just lost us the game and that she figuratively turned the lights out on the Colts.

I do this for all of my teams too. Well except the Pacers. I don't have anything Pacers related save for a few accessories, nothing that I can wear. But after the Jets beat the Colts I'm done with it. I abided by all my superstition rules and we lost, after we had won 4 straight and were playing well. I'll still wear my jersey's and what not. It's a tradition. But I'm done being superstitious.

I also have an autographed authentic shirt of one of the Pirates infielders from the mid 90's (he played in the all-star game at Three Rivers) but I can't remember who it was (last name was Garcia).

I'm very superstituous when it comes to Jerseys, so far in my Black Authentic Brees SB Jersey the Saints are 6-1(stupid seahawks). In my black replica Colston jersey the Saints are 3-0(Dolphins game I went to,Cards/Vikes playoffs). I only break out my saints watch for big games as well.

Non Saints I only have a Mardi Gras CP3,PP7 and a Favre Packers jersey I got for like $15 when he first retired. Collecting Jerseys of other favorite players seems like a cool idea but too much money imo. Right now I guess i'm collecting hats for my fav teams it seems. I want to get an old school LSU shaq jersey tho

Unless they are obviously dirty or shorts one wore while working out, I'm voting no. EDIT: agreed on "yes" if boxer shorts, though.

Ditto with blue jeans and most other casual pants. More formal wear probably should be washed each time, though, IMO.

Jean/cargo shorts. They're not dirty and they smell fine. This is probably the 1st time in 5+ years I've worn something twice without a wash, except for sweatshirts. I'm sure I did it a million times as a kid though.
