And if I got The Show, I'd probably start off with an older, cheaper version first like 09 or 10. I'm not that into baseball so outdated rosters (except for maybe the Jays) and that type of thing wouldn't really bother me.

You'll be doing yourself a huge disservice if you don't buy '11.

It will be the best one yet. If you even remotely enjoy baseball games, don't sell yourself short. If you just enjoy awesome games, it will be worth it.

I probably would jump in on it if I wasn't possibly looking at such a tight budget to start my PS3 game collection.

Hell, I'm not even sure if this is all going to work out. A few things are gonna have to go right, but I'm glad I've finally made some progress on getting a PS3 after waiting a week for any legit responses.

It really depends on whether or not he's willing to pony up that extra $50, because I'm only sitting on an extra $50 to spend myself (most of my money has to go towards other things right now) until the end of the month, and I realized a little while after my first post about all of this that that Best Buy bundle expires on the 24th.

After my initial excitement an hour ago, I'm starting to come back down to reality and assuming my PS3 switch isn't going to happen yet, but I still have my fingers crossed this is going to work out.

I bought 10 and honestly, as amazing as it was, I just couldn't get the hang of the hitting and all that. Made it unbearable to play. Maybe I just sucked at it. Not fun to play a video game where you strike out like 16 times a game.

Trade looks pretty good GIGGAS. If you play the Thunder, let me know if Durant is being a dick and jacking up a bunch of shots. I haven't been on my 360 for most of this week (a serious dry spell for me ), but I've been trying to fix that.

Speaking of gaming though, I posted an ad to sell my 360 and most of my games on the 10th. I only really got responses from those *******es that see you're trying to sell the system and most, if not all of the games listed and then ask "how much u wnt 4 assasins creed brudderhood???". Well, I checked my email an hour ago and found a new response, but this time from a serious buyer.

The only issue is the guy is offering $250 and I was asking $300. What I posted in my ad was my 20GB Pro 360, a controller, chatpad, plug n play cord (for the controller), and the cables to hook all the **** up. The games are NBA 2K11, EA MMA, NCAA 11, NHL 11, AC Brotherhood, AC II, Batman: Arkham Asylum, GTA IV, Skate 1 and Skate 2 (I know all of this could maybe go for more than $300, but since it's an older version of the 360 and most people don't have over $300 to throw around, I figured that's a more than fair price).

$50 isn't that big of a deal of course since I'm sitting on about $100 of my own money that I can add to the fund instead of going to more important things and my birthday is the first week of April, but it would be helpful in getting a PS3 and not barely having anything to play with it.

I'm not sure if I should jump at this dude's offer, but I'm leaning towards going for it. I looked through most of the sites of the retail places around here and so far the best deal on a PS3 I found was this from Best Buy: http://www.bestbuy.ca/en-CA/product/...8d6145fe7ben02

A 320GB PS3, Uncharted 2, ModNation Racers, Karate Kid Blu-Ray (the remake) and a Blu-Ray remote for $299, and it's regular $369. Looks like a hell of a steal to me, although I could care less for Karate Kid and ModNation Racers and I need to play Uncharted 1 before I get to 2, but that's still a deal that's hard to pass up. So, it looks like I might finally be jumping to the dark side.

I think $250 for that is a fair price. The fact that it's an older version of the 360 notches it down a bit. Plus most people are pretty cheap on Craigslist, at least from my experiences selling. I'd jump on the offer if you're serious about it.

Although I could never sell my 360. There's nothing on the PS3 that is enticing to me except GT5, but 360 has Forza so I'm fine.

I bought 10 and honestly, as amazing as it was, I just couldn't get the hang of the hitting and all that. Made it unbearable to play. Maybe I just sucked at it. Not fun to play a video game where you strike out like 16 times a game.

Well, Washington first plays the Thunder on January 28th, and I'm only in November (just started the Assoc. a couple of days ago). So either I'll be getting to the game in 3 weeks or so, or I won't get to it. Rashidi did tendencies modification, so it's been a pretty good set to play with.

New coach for the Irish who tries to bring the program back to 2006 levels (last year of Paul Mainieri, who left for LSU & won a title)

My first three years with Mainieri: Top 10 in the country. 3 Big East titles
Senior year with new coach: 28-28...worst season for the Irish in a LONG time

I would love to see the Irish back on top of the Big East.

I have to start out every year on Pro with the pitch speed at zero (PsychoBulk's sliders w/ that tweak) and after about 20-30 games it starts to creep back to default...

I too, got hung up on the "levels and difficulty" thing, until some of the other high profile guys in The Show forum admitted to similar "ramp up" issues...

My K's go from about 12-14 to about 4-6 once I get reacclimated...

Default All Star (for example) would prob send me packin' too, out of sheer frustraion...
