This is the truth.

I have had a bunch of "friends" and I've partied with plenty of people, but the ones I care to see are the ones I still see. I went to the same school kindergarten - 12th grade and I've had the same three best friends most of my life. It's still the same and we're all 21 & 22 now.

Everyone else I went to school with, I talk to through facebook, but that's it. It's nice now, that my phone doesn't blow up constantly. It's usually either one of the three guys I mentioned, girlfriend, or a friend from work.

I'm only three years removed from highschool too.. lol

I vote for a ban if no story is forthcoming.

It involves drugs and alcohol, so it cannot be told on OS, sorry guys lol.

Yes. Yes it was......it was a major source of drama in the school. Then when we tried to organize a prom off-site, the school threatened to take away stuff like Ditch Day, Grad Night, etc.

I remember there was an assembly one day and I stood up and read a "speech" that I wrote.....funny thing is that I was kinda happy we didn't have a prom, because of costs. I was just appalled by the school's behavior. I barely got through one paragraph before being shouted down by the Principal, VP, etc.

I'm surprised I didnt get expelled.

Wow...all I can imagine is that whatever happened the prior year, must've been bad. We did things, but the only punishment we received was to clean it up, if not then you would be disciplined further.(Not sure what that involved as no one that I knew of cared to find out either).

Wow...all I can imagine is that whatever happened the prior year, must've been bad. We did things, but the only punishment we received was to clean it up, if not then you would be disciplined further.(Not sure what that involved as no one that I knew of cared to find out either).

Yeah it was pretty bad. Hasn't been a prom at my school since. I forgot exactly what happened. I remember it was something about trashing the place, throwing up everywhere, etc.

Ah, the joys of highschool.

I remember our senior prank.

I had on a pair of glasses, when we got there.

I left with broken glasses, missing a shoe, a black eye, and rode out in the back of a police car... lol


I broke my glasses falling in the woods. I lost a shoe about 20 minutes into the whole operation... I stepped in a ridiculous mud hole.. while we were tracking the woods into the back way of the school.. and couldn't find it and didn't have time. I got a black eye, because we were trying to get away from the cops and we were at the woods line and a few people came running through the woods screaming, "Cops.. Cops run."

They were building a new baseball field and the land was flat for like 100 yards.. so we all took off.. (I was missing a shoe at this point in time) and when we got to the other woods line, it was a drop off into the woods (none of us expected it). I slipped and fell and a guys elbow collided with my face.

We ended up being cornered in the woods and me and my buddy rode out in a cop car. There was about 15 of us all together. Someone had tipped them off. Once one of my friends hopped the fence, a spot light hit him and the chase was on from there.

fun times. lol

I don't have Twitter, not that I would post it if I did anyway . I'm anti social networks since myspace reminded me how few friends I actually have lol

I'll just keep it to myself, I edited my original post so we can pretend I never brought it up

still though, to punish future students is ridiculous. Let the punishment fit the crime.

A long time friend of mine informed me today that he proposed to his girlfriend on Valentine's Day and that she said yes. I was happy for them since they've been nearly perfect for one another since they first met. Then he told me how he proposed...

He used Rammstein's song "Heirate Mich," which in German, is "Marry Me." What makes it interesting is while he is a Rammstein fan, he isn't a huge one. She doesn't like them much at all, which made it an even odder choice... Add on the meaning of the lyrics of the song themself, and he's either an idiot that didn't do any research on the song, or insane.

Ah High School.....I hated it.

At least I went to my prom but really I went to it all alone and stuck to the corner with a couple of other folks I knew. In many ways High School was my wilderness years.

We have been nothing BUT that. We have been pretty well behaved compared to previous senior classes. For example, we raised $30,000 for the Armenia Fund, a sum that is well above the average. Part of the $30,000 was money WE donated that was collected for a purpose of running an INDEPENDENT prom. We donated when we shouldn’t have even HAD to. I’d say that’s setting pretty good standards. However, we have been treated as anything BUT adults, with this actual NON-issue being the prime example. Due to the fact that we feel manipulated and lied to, I think I’m speaking for most if not all of this senior class when I say that I have lost all respect and trust in this administration."

The people you know in HS, you will more than likely not know as you get older.

A lot of people I was friends with in HS I have not talked to since HS.

I'm still friends with the same people I've been friends with since elementary/middle school. Most of them obviously don't go to school here, but we all still talk on Facebook...when everyone's home we still do the same stuff we did in high school.
