I always thought Parfait Bitee was pretty good. Although I don't think you hear about him much.

I just hope in regards to the Trek sequel they don't go rehashing Khan. Maybe have Khan somewhere in the film and make him a bigger threat for a potential 2nd sequel though.

In the alternate timeline would they even still encounter Khan?

I have a quick iphone question. My wife got a 3gs. They require a data plan. We got the miniumum because she doesn't use the data much on her blackberry almost none at all for that matter.

But does it work like my daughters ipod touch and connect to wifi? If so do you pay for data used while on a wifi network? Like listening to pandora? Or MLB.TV?

I imagine if you DL apps using the att network it'll use data can i just DL the apps to my PC and transfer them to the iphone? is there data charged for that?

This whole smartphone thing, while cool, is a bit much to follow.

Wifi, 3g, 4g, android, iOS, multitask, etc... ugh.

Well this is old info as I haven't looked around in quite some time but one of the story ideas pitched was that they'd use Khan as a political allegory to the current political situation in the world a la terrorism.

I'm sure they've come up with something better but you know Trekkies at some point will want to see Khan in the new films. That's why I said better to make it for a potential part III rather than going into that avenue in the next film. The next film should be a bit more character based and feel more like Trek than the first film did.

Any data downloaded when connected to WiFi, does NOT count against the data plan. Only data over the network does. That's why it's nice that AT&T went to those plans. I never come close to the limit on the cheaper plan, so my bill went down about $10/month.

I imagine it works exactly like an iPod touch (don't have one of those). Just set it up once and it connects automatically from then on.

While connected to a home network (wifi) no data is charged. And yes, that's what the iTunes store is for.

That's great! I'm getting one in June. I gotta say I'm pretty excited about it.

And by itunes store you mean on the PC yeah? My daughter has an account on there. Actually it's my account with restrictions.
