Man mooses are beast. I watch a video where the moose went crazy! Knocking over a car and attacking people. And man those horns and body are freaking huge.

Re: Off Topic 2011
Probably same thing then. If you're playing left or right wing all you really have to worry about on D is the d-man on your side when he has the puck. If he doesn't have the puck you can sag off a little, but once he gets the puck make sure to take away his shooting lane and pressure him by trying to take the puck away.
Also just in general, don't try to always go for the big hit. Most of the time it's better to just stay in good position and take away passing or shooting lanes.
On offense if you're struggling to get into the other team's zone, try dumping the puck in (RB/R1 + R stick up) and going after it.
Are the wing guys the main shooters on the team as well or are they more a PG for assists?Aaron

Re: Off Topic 2011
Finally!
1) What does moose taste like?
2) Is it weird knowing that we already took Alaska and if Obama got hammered one night and put out the order we could take the rest of your country by morning?
3) Newfoundland? Really?
4) What the hell is a rouge and who thought that was a good idea?
5) Do you ever get American coins mixed in with your change?
1) No clue, though i'm told it has a bit of a sweet/gamey taste.
2) Not weird, just a fact of life though originally it had been owned by Russia. Thank goodness the US purchased it or the Cold War might've actually gotten hot.
3) What's wrong with Newfoundland? it's fitting as it got its name from settlers who called it the New found land. It's also the last or second last province to join Confederation.
4) I agree, the rouge is a stupid rule and is the last vestigial remains of Canadian football's rugby roots.
5) Many times especially after a trip to the US though luckily cashiers in Canada are lenient and will take US coinage from time to time unlike every stinkin' US store i've gone to and get scolded for accidentally giving Canadian coins.Member of the Official OS Bills Backers Club

Re: Off Topic 2011
But yeah, if you look through the roster you're using, usually the playmakers are the passers/set-up men, snipers are of course the guys with good shots, grinders are your gritty players that work hard down low and along the boards, check and are usually good defensively. They can score goals, just not as often as the more skilled players. Power forwards are usually guys that go hard to the net/crash the net and 2-way forwards are players that are good offensively and defensively.
Basically when it comes to shooting, it's just by committee. Go with whoever has a good look at getting the puck on net, but if you can get the puck to your snipers or defensemen with big slapshots then that's always nice as well.Originally posted by bradtxmaleI like 6 inches. Since I live within a half hour of the border, I will give you a tip of what to do in the US. Go to a fast food drive thru that has two windows in which you pay in the first and receive food in the second. Pay exact change using a combingation of US dollar bills and Canadian coins you have, say "thank you, keep the receipt" and just speed off without waiting. HINT: Does not work for loonie or toonies.Comment
