I don't understand how people could laugh at someone wearing Royals stuff.

It's mostly from bandwagon fans/people who don't care that much about baseball in the first place. We have tons of those in KC, probably because the Royals have sucked for long and their are multiple generations who don't know what it's like to see good baseball. It's not quite as bad so far this season, but if they start to lose it'll go back to being just as bad as it has been.

I will say it's almost comical to see "insert most recent WS winner here" hats pop up every season. I feel safe in saying I saw more Phillies hats in KC after their WS win than I had in my entire life up to that point.

Actually, the only Giants hat I've seen was from one of my friends who was born in SF, and is a true Giants fan...that kind of surprises me.

I hate that hat. It's probably the traditionalist in me, but I hate that hat. Maybe if they switched the blue's or something, but I wish we'd just wear the royal blue ones we wore with the powders in the 80s.

Actually, the only Giants hat I've seen was from one of my friends who was born in SF, and is a true Giants fan...that kind of surprises me.

You know, now that you mention SF, I don't think I've seen many Giants hats so far this year. I wonder why that is.

Bandwagon Phillies fans were probably standing in line waiting to check out their new Giants hat when they heard the news of the Cliff Lee signing and went "You know what, I think I'll keep the hat I've got on."

Also, I agree with adice - that throwback Brewers hat is gorgeous. I also like tha A's regular hat.

I wish someone would ask me something about the Brewers.

Normally it's "So... you a Packers fan, too?"

Of course talking about how the Brewers are playing right now could make me very sad, so maybe it's a good thing...

I'm in the sameboat except swap the Brewers out with the Nets.

But even with the Packers, unless I'm with my friends or family, I can barely get in a decent conversation about them. It's always "So, what do you think the Redskins/Cowboys/Yankees/Lakers will do?" SMH.

Heh I always get why in the world are you an LSU, Hornets, and Saints fan? Gee it must be hard to figure that one out. Especially now it's the how in the world are you not a Heat fan? Maybe because i'm not a bandwagon fan like most of South FL

I remember getting called a bandwagoner after LSU won their title in '07 and the Saints in '09 all the time in the halls of my HS, so I put up 2 pics on my FB of me at 2 months old in a saints and an LSU shirt
