Also, my curiosity in southern foods expands... This time about sweet tea. Does all sweet tea made in the south taste like the tea at McDonalds (which is almost the only place up here that has it)? Is there a right and wrong way brew the stuff? Who makes the best?

Any local restaurant in the south will have good sweet tea. Best I've had was from The Cotton Patch in Eutaw, AL.

You've never seen the Arizona Sweet Tea at the store? I swear my mom grabs a jug every other trip to the store.

But, anyway, I hate sweet tea.

I have seen Arizona teas of different flavors including Iced Tea with Lemon, but I'll admit that I haven't seen their "straight up" sweet tea.

The last 12 hours or so have been so surreal, I haven't been able to sleep or do anything really. Last night just after midnight, my sister and her boyfriend were drunk and ran across the street to get to their housing complex. My sister made it across but an SUV with their headlights off hit my sister's boyfriend and fled. Spent the night at the hospital basically and we found out the news that he had passed away at around 4 am. Such a tough situation, seeing my sister react the way she did and how his family took it.

I went to a water park a few years ago, wore sunscreen but I went in the water right after so it became pointless. 8 hours in South FL summer heat with no sunscreen, I regretted that the next day as I itched so bad I started to cry cause it was so unbearable finally I took 2 or 3 benadryl and passed out for 16 hours.

Yeah, this is the first time for me. My grandpa and uncle were expected.. but this completely caught me by surprise. And it's a shame too, he had so much going for him and he truly was a great person. 25 was way too young for him.

Same here. Thank goodness, because I wouldn't be able to handle losing someone close well at all.
