SO I ended up going to the aquarium. it was 30 dollars parking and 20 per ticket. I was like **** that ****, and got a nathans hotdog. Those bitches are good as hell. I regret not going earlier in the week to watch the hotdog eating contest.

Cable guy was supposed to be here at 3pm. 4pm rolled around still no sign so I call Cox Cable. They say he is running late and will be here at 4pm. Its now 4:48 and still no sign of the guy. This is not how I planned on spending my Saturday afternoon.

I'm starting to think AT&T is the worst company ever. First, I get set up for a dry loop high speed internet service, the cheapest one. The technician came to install a phone line but discovered it was simply covered up behind a blank plate, no work necessary other than putting on a normal plate.

So the first bill comes, and it says I'm signed up for the most expensive service and the phone line installation is there anyway. So the bill is $172. After being transferred several times to other AT&T idiots while trying to get this fixed, finally someone is able to help and changes my service to the cheap service. A credit is given to the account for the unnecessary phone line installation. Knowing that these clowns will just screw it up somehow, the employees name and ID is requested and granted.

Bill is paid for the adjusted amount, with all the information written down and sent. Couple weeks later a "looks like you forgot to pay your bill" notice is sent. Before I can even respond, a new bill is sent detailing a "past due" amount for all that was supposed to be credited. Fortunately I did a copy of the original bill with the information written on it at Staples so they're not gonna get away with this ****. Seriously these people are so incompetent it blows my mind. I'm at the point where I feel like no one can be this stupid and they're just doing it on purpose trying to screw people over.

I left out a few other AT&T screwups because this is already a long post but man this is frustrating.

I'm amazed now when anything actually goes smoothly.

That happens with just about EVERY cable company. I remember many times when i've called my cable company for help and had to wait literally 5 hrs just for them to do something that took a half hour at most.
