Having the Travel Channel's food programs on while typing a paper and hungry is torture. I've got food to cook but it's no where near as good as what I'm seeing on TV, a grilled ham and cheese just doesn't compare to Memphis BBQ.I've heard this "patience is a virtue" junk all my life. I'm happy to say I have no virtue, no scruples, and no desire to wait too long for anything. In my humble opinion instant gratification takes too long!

Couldn't ended so much worse. She's lucky she bailed off the bike off the side instead of getting flipped or having the bike hit her in the air or on the landing. Nice kart wheel though.
Just killed a spider that creeped up my bed. Little bastard was fast as hell too. About the size of a penny and luckily I found something to crush him with. That's always the worst, when you got your targets locked on but can't find anything suitable to crush 'em with. If you miss on that first attempt... bad things can happen. Just a few days ago I started watching FlashForward and I'm all ready on ep. 13. This is why I can't watch weekly shows on TV. I can't stand to wait to find out what's next and I have a hard time catching the episodes each week.Comment

Got a "new" iPod today. Not technically new, it's an 8 GB (I have a trusty 4 GB) that my brother took as collateral when he lent one of my other brother's friends money. Which he'll never see, as we've cut ties with that brother and all his druggie friends. Since my one brother doesn't have a need for an iPod, it falls to me. Pretty sweet deal, in the end. I get a lot of music that I wouldn't want to download/buy but might still listen to, get to put my own stuff on it, and get an extra 4 GB worth of space to add new music. It was getting pretty hard parting with good songs that just weren't good enough to make the cut on a 4 GB iPod.
Anyway, after Googling how to get music off this thing and put my own on, I'm all set. Got the music off it, it's actually super easy, hardly a workaround. The bitch is renaming the files... I like to keep my stuff moderately organized (file named as song title, get the artist and, if I can, album). But all the file names are random letters so it's going to be time consuming and annoying to put it all in manually. The task begins... now!
EDIT: 1 folder down, about 10-15 minutes. Only 65 songs. There was over 1000 on here, though I'm deleting some of the crap that has no descriptions at all. Not my type of music anyway. My reward for completing a folder of renaming files; listening to said files.

Still haven't even opened NCAA yet after waiting most of the day yesterday to get it. I'm too addicted to The Show. Once FK's rosters are out, and the community rosters thereafter, and I can dive into a dynasty and the online dynasties start I'll be more enticed, but right now...I'm more interested in baseball.Comment
