I can't play this game without googling like a stinking mad man. Even then I can't come up with one. This game sucks.Originally posted by Anthony BourdainThe celebrity chef culture is a remarkable and admittedly annoying phenomenon. Of all the professions, after all, few people are less suited to be suddenly thrown into the public eye than chefs. We're used to doing what we do in private, behind closed doors.Comment

Re: Off Topic 2011
I would like to nominate this part of the world as the most boring place to live. I cannot wait to get out of this area. Nothing to do, I won't miss everyone too much when I am off for college, and I am more of a coastal/big city person which is exactly the opposite of this place.
Anyone from Florida or California who likes small 25k people towns in the hills of Tennessee want to switch homes?“No one is more hated than he who speaks the truth.”

Re: Off Topic 2011
Who wouldn't love a place that's "A Good Place to Live" and is the home to country music, and also has the world's fastest half mile(which isn't even true), and also has a picture of Dale Earnhardt painted on the side of a building downtown, but in the background is Daytona and not the track that is just down the road. Bristol also has the world's finest people who are fake and most act like something they are not.
I think you'd love it.
The only time I like Bristol is during race week when it gets crowded, but even then it's still pretty boring and bland. And the only thing I really like about Bristol is I get to experience all 4 seasons, but not to their extremes.“No one is more hated than he who speaks the truth.”

Re: Off Topic 2011
You probably were there when it was a true sell out then. The race still sells out technically, but because so many companies buy large percentages of the tickets. The stands definitely are nowhere near as full as they used years ago.
If there wasn't a hill behind my house I would have a straight view at the track. I can basically walk to it if I want in under 30 minutes. Since I am so close I have seen how much the times have changed. The camping areas all around my neighborhood used to always be full as can be, cars used to be parked in the grass off of 394 for miles, and going into town by the track used to take hours at a time to get 5 miles. The past few years has been nothing like that anymore. There are still a lot of people coming into town every time the race is here, but not even close to what I just described.“No one is more hated than he who speaks the truth.”

I'd love to live down there, but I don't think my allergies would let me. I had taken 6-8 Clariton in about an hour's span before the Truck race and my allergies still hit me worse than in Spring/Fall in Wisconsin.Comment

Re: Off Topic 2011
Since I have lived here my entire life I am used to it all I guess. I can see how people could love it here if they aren't used to the scenery or are from much larger cities, but it just isn't me. I want to live somewhere that is the opposite of Bristol. I want a big city, I want to be on the coast line, etc.
And I guess that is one positive to growing up here. I am used to everything down here so I have zero allergy problems throughout the year.“No one is more hated than he who speaks the truth.”

Best part of the coastline is the fog that rolls in. Other than that, no big deal.Comment

Re: Off Topic 2011
Haha, I could say something similar to the people who love the mountains and dense green scenery here. Some people like living in places like Bristol and some people, like me, just love being in bigger areas near the coast.“No one is more hated than he who speaks the truth.”
