I was just thinking of an idea. What if every time you went to make a new thread there was a search engine that was able to search for topics that had similar titles to yours and showed you them and then asked if you still wanted to post your new topic.

People would be able to see those topics and check them out and it could prevent them from making the same topics over and over all the time. Of course I have no idea how anything like that could be implemented or if something like that is possible, but it's just a random idea I had.

They have this on a Packers forum I used to go to.

You type in the name of the thread you want to make, and while you're making the thread it searches for threads with a similar name and shows you the results at the top of your screen.
