Yeah well my power went out not once, not twice, but 3 times today. Woke up around 10 and there was still power. Fell back to sleep for about an hour and when I woke up again around 11 power was out. Came back on about an hour later only to back back out 20 minutes later for about another hour. Oh yeah, and during that time I didn't have any water either because it was a major outage that affected a pumping station. Water came back a bit after 1. Then another line of really nasty storms rolled thorugh starting around 3:30 and the power went out for another 20 minutes a bit after 4. Was so dark it looked like 8:30 at night. Then my internet has been barely (if at all) functional since around the time the power came back on after the most recent outage. Only now is it starting to work better again.

Question to all you OS Dating Advice Givers/Players/Pimps/Ladies Men/Manwhores....

How does one go about making a move on a girl when you're surrounded by your friends?

I've always been decent at making a move when alone and all of that, and according to a few people at work this girl is into me but won't make the first move.....but it's near impossible to get her alone. So, yeah. Do you just go for it and say '**** the fact that everyone is staring at us?'


Oh...also, her ex boyfriend would probably be in that crowd of people, too.

I have, we just haven't been able to get a time together with work schedules and all of that. There's supposed to be a party tonight (and I assume her ex will be there since he's in the same group of friends) so I figured I'd try something there...just, yeah, everything seems to be against it.

Easy bro , simply take her by the hand and pull her away from the crowd for a bit. If that isn't an option because of where the group is. Playful and flirtatious touching is always a good idea in a group. Lets her know your interested and from there the vibe should be set.

I would suggest since this is your second? time with this chick in a large group. At some point in the night suggest you two go out alone next time. Even if its for a cup of coffee during the day or something like that. She will appreciate that your taking it slow and her comfort level rise.

So yeah , I have my cousins wedding this afternoon. Going to a wedding dolo for the first time. Should be interesting and hopefully there are some vulnerable bridesmaids there. Its an open bar so their looks might not be too much of a factor.

If they look anything like the girl he is marrying I have nothing to worry about. Should be a fun day overall though.

I've had some weird experiences with XBOX Live lately. Right now it is showing one of my friends online right now and I know they aren't because their 360 is downstairs and they're at work, not here.

Also, I have only played my 360 once this week and that was last night, but every time I would go downstairs and watch them play CoD they would go to their friends list and it would always say I had been offline for 3 hours, 6 hours, etc. every day when I hadn't been on my 360 in at least a week.

Also, I have only played my 360 once this week and that was last night, but every time I would go downstairs and watch them play CoD they would go to their friends list and it would always say I had been offline for 3 hours, 6 hours, etc. every day when I hadn't been on my 360 in at least a week.
