Did anybody ever grow up doing the sunday dinner thing ? I never did but hear some of my friends talk about it all the time. With there being a lot of food and everybody within driving distance all getting together eating at one house, like 20 plus people eating dinner together.

And they do it EVERY Sunday.

When I was a baby I lived in a house with my parents, grandma and my grandma's 4 sisters (grandmas themselves) so sunday diner was big .

When my parents finally moved out with me, big sunday diner vanished. So for example I live with my mom and grandma now, and its a sunday dinner between the three of us. Nothing big, no family coming over. Only Easter, Christmas, and Thanksgiving are big events.

I'm listening to Slacker Radio and it just started playing the song in the NFL Network commercials. I feel like I should be watching football today.

Yup and my family still has it every Sunday. I didn't have my daughter this weekend so I took a break today. That and the hangover I've had since I woke up. I know its big in the Italian community. All of my Italian friends families do Sunday dinner.

I've started to wonder, does Facebook have a filter to tell when people actually post "Happy Birthday" on someone's wall for their birthday? Or could I say something completely random on their wall on their birthday and have it pop up on other people's news feeds as me "writing on their wall for their birthday?"

um, it tells you on the sidebar when it is somebodies birthday.

That's not what I'm asking.

When it's someone's birthday, your News Feed displays this:



With a list of the most recent 3-4 wall posts by mutual friends of that person.

Now, let's say I write "Hey, where's that $10 you owe me." on someone's wall while it's their birthday. Will that message include me among the people that "wrote on so&so's wall for their birthday," even though my message had nothing to do with their birthday?

Finally paid that **** off a couple months ago.

Worth it, though.

I didn't get lasik and I'm pretty sure I'm not blind.

My eyes are weird. My left eye was always my dominant eye. It always had much better vision than my right eye and is pretty much the only eye I see out of when both are open. Sounds weird, but apparently that's how my brain works according to all the eye doctors I've been to. When I close my left eye I can see out of my right eye, but it's terrible compared to if I only have my left open.

Over time my eyes got better since I wore glasses and contacts and now they're to the point where they are the best they'll be. My left eye is 20/40 and my right eye is 20/100 and since my left eye is 20/40 it would really be a waste of money to buy glasses/contacts since they would barely help my vision and since my right eye basically doesn't work the glasses/contacts wouldn't really help that eye.

So an online friend was talking about how clean her house looks after she picked everything up and vacuumed. I said "bring your vacuum over here, mine sucks". Seriously, is that the worst line ever? If it had been on OS I'd have deleted that baby within seconds.

So me and the new girl are hitting it off. Old girl is acting distant and a little competition never hurt. I just have to keep the 2 from finding out. Me and old girl aren't exclusive so it's not cheating, but old girl definitely is the type to get pissed. I'll decide who to get serious with in a few weeks.
