Yeah, I don't recall any last-gen sports title having near as many glitches as get reported for current gen titles with the possible exception of NASCAR 06 for PS2. Then again, it seems that individual gamers only experience a certain subset of all reported glitches in a game. This is at least in my experience since I have never experienced or noticed a number of glitches reported in the glitch threads for NCAA Football.

I think some people spend too much time trying to find glitches in games. I swear the sole purpose some people buy games is to find things wrong and pick them apart. Or abuse said glitch to their advantage. Sports and FPS games come to mind.

The way I see it is patches have been around for years on PC games, so that doesn't fly with me. I think it's just harder to find them, and more importantly, fix them as games become more advanced in the code that runs them.

What looks like a simple bug might involve anything but a simple fix. And then there's always the chance that in fixing A, it causes new bug B, C, and D to show up, which are much worse than A. It's a juggling act that I would not want to have as my job, that's for sure.

Nope , felt it here in Rhode Island. Wasn't sure what happened at first.

Apparently one did. A 5.8 quake.

I had no idea what it was. I'm in ****ing Shenandoah Valley VA for crying out loud. That was by far the weirdest things I've ever experienced. Like I knew what it was, but my logic was telling me I was crazing for thinking it was an earthquake.

We felt it up here, too. A coworker down the hall mentioned an office chair moved by itself a bit. Fun times... I just thought it was a truck passing by.

CNN just said that aftershocks are very possible, since it is rare to get them over here.

Right and I know as games progress they get more complex, but some of the glitches leave me scratching my head as to how nobody picked it up in testing (the Road to Glory ones being the most obvious because they start in year 2). Honestly, glitches don't bother me much and I don't really go out looking for them and apart from the typical open-world glitches, nothing really stands out from previous games that affected the game negatively. Its like a vinyl that pops and cracks. After awhile it just becames part of the product.
