FT, if you're moving in with friends, make sure they're in the same life situation as you. What I mean is I got done with my degree in 4 years and got a job one week after I graduated. I was still living with 3 guys in a house. 1 was a friend from HS who was a drunk and in the process of drinking himself out of school, and the other 2 were serious about school, but had days off during the week.

So what would happen is I would be trying to sleep and someone would be coming home almost every night at midnight-2AM waking me up. That lasted until the first opportunity I had to move out of there. I moved to a 2-bedroom apartment with another friend from HS (drunk from above's younger brother) who was still in school, but we had about the same schedules, so it worked out great.

My elbow feels like it's going to blow up. I guess that's what I get for playing baseball every week day when I already have a bum elbow. With that said I couldn't be happier, most fun I've had in a while.

Whats funny is the guy I'm always playing with was one of my older brothers best friends from grade school, and now me and him are really good friends (while my brother no longer lives in town).

I've thought about joining a city league, but I don't think my shoulder can handle the strain. I've tried to start throwing again and it's just not comfortable.

Today I was on the bus on my way home and some guy sat next to me. I don't have any problem with that but then he began eating his fingernails. For me it was disgusting, I don't know why he couldn't wait and do it somewhere else when it's isn't appealing at all, specially when he was making faces like he was enjoying eating a chocolate cake. He did that for twenty minutes, I tried my best to keep minding my own buisness but that annoyed me.

So my friend's brother is, for lack of a better term, the recruiting coordinator for Theta Chi, and he seems dead set on making sure I pledge there. Like, DEAD set. Even though I'm living off campus and have not attended a single frat-related or frat-sponsored event, he's always texting me asking to go work out or if I need help with any of my classes. So he's in the fratcastle for the day and he asks me if I want to come over and get some jambalaya. **** yea I want some jambalaya. So I got to meet some current members as well as some prospects (along with my friend, who understands the position I'm in) and it was without a doubt the most awkward experience I've had in my life. Everybody but my brother's friend saw that it was fairly obvious that I was not going to pledge.
