Sheesh I just went to Canadian Tire (It's a major automotive store chain here) and my father and I had a helluva time trying to find automatic transmission fluid. It literally took us a half hour to find what we were looking for. (turned out we looked in the wrong section!)

Oh well....Can't believe there's so many different products for car maintainance!

The subject matter has changed as well. The thread subject that used to be on okay were hilarious. Half the posts back then would have drawn a card with today's rules and enforcement of them

Talk about misleading store names. I once bought ice hockey gear and a Super Soaker at a Canadian Tire.

It's expanded over the years. They always had sports equipment and such but over the last 10-15 years it has grown to be a multi-purpose store with sports equipment, gardening tools, camping equipment, home fixtures etc etc.

Canadian Tire is still the market leader in Canada for stores of its ilk even though Home Depot and Lowes has come into the Canadian market.

Are/is the Canadian Tire money still in use? It always seemed like my cousins would collect a huge stash of them.

So I just got a call from my mom, apparently one of my sisters dogs got into a nearly full prescription bottle of Prozac today. My sister had to take all 3 dogs to the vet (where she works by the way) and they made them throw up, but only one of them was showing any symptoms (seizures, elevated body temeprature) and is currently being treated.

I think my mom has made it a goal of hers to send my credit score to hell.

Note to self: stop having any of my stuff mailed to her house

Yep still in use though not as ubiquitous as it once was.
