September/playoff baseball and playoff hockey are by far the most gut-wrenching things in North American sports.

I don't know; watching your favorite driver blow a lead on the last lap of the Daytona 500, the most prestigious race in Nascar and one he had never won, is pretty gut-wrenching in its own right.

I can't wait to watch this. I always felt bad for Bartman. As a Cubs fan, I was much more angry with Alou and Alex Gonzalez for freaking out and not keeping their composure.

All tied up with 2 games left in the AL East. Injuries or not the Red Sox don't deserve to make it. I won't complain if they do , but I don't like this team. Only player to take any responsibility so far is Papelbon.

Is watching that car take a left turn at 200 miles an hour really more exciting than a game of baseball?

You're asking if watching 43 cars racing at 150+ mph mere inches apart basicallyl non-stop for 3+ hours is more exciting that a bunch of guys mostly standing around a field doing nothing interrupted every few minutes by a few seconds of action when a ball is hit into play?

Yes, NASCAR is more exciting.

Yes, NASCAR is more exciting.

Eh, I never could get into NASCAR, and I'm from the racing capital of the US.

I love the nuances of baseball. The cat and mouse game between pitcher/batter. The strategy of matchups, defensive positioning, stealing, hit and runs, etc.

I get that it's very boring if you're not interested or don't understand these things, but all of this makes each game pretty exciting, and playoff baseball is second to none to me.

Maybe I'm over thinking this a little bit, but if you were so scared of the cops that you jumped out of your car and took off running when two cop cars drove past, wouldn't it make sense to stay away from an area that has a police station?
