So I had Bojangles for the first time yesterday. Honestly I've had chicken TV dinners that were better.

I pushed it the wrong way, while moving some cabinets at work.

Good News: I'm off work for the next 8 days, so I should be good to go.

Alright fellas, story time. Gather around, it's a long and very entertaining, and ridiculous one. And if you know me off this site, this story is even more ****ing ridiculous.
                                <o></o>
So today was my friend's birthday. We went out last night to celebrate after making plans earlier in the week. Originally it was gonna be the guys plus some of our girls, plus some of his friends from law school. The (female) friends from law school had "prior arrangements" to go to a gay bar in Hollywood, and couldn't be bothered to change them to show up for their "friend's" birthday. We talked to them Friday during the day and they tried convincing us to change OUR plans to come to Hollywood so if for some reason their plans didn't work out, they'd have a safety net or something. I told my friends **** that, because that's BS. The bar we wanted to go to was in downtown. We're gonna change our plans to accomodate people that aren't nice enough to change their regular plans to hang out for a friend's birthday?
                                <o></o>
Onto the birthday guy. He's been down and depressed for a while. He lost a ton of weight and his personality changed a lot once he started getting more attention from people/chicks. Quite pathetic if I may say so, I hate when people change, start to act stupid, and change who they are depending on who they're around. He's started to drink more, act stupid, started smoking cigarettes and other stuff....Either way, we made it clear that last night was his night and asked him what he wanted to do. He said he wanted to get drunk. Where or how didn't matter. So we went to downtown.
                                <o></o>
First off, the guy already downed a mini tequila bottle before we even met up. We get to the bar, he drinks the very strong (3 types of rum) drink I bought for him in two sips. Our other friends get him other stuff, and he drinks that ridiculously quickly too. Almost like he was bored or whatever and just didn't want to be there. Keep in mind that he knows that his female/other friends are at another bar in Hollywood, so at this point his thoughts are evident. We end up spotting Ty Burrell, the dad from Modern Family, and some dude from Mad Men. We chat with them, they buy my friend a drink for his birthday. My friend tells him that meeting them is the highlight of the night for sure. Ty Burrell said "if meeting us is the highlight of your night, then your night's gonna suck", lol. Guess what my *******, ungrateful friend says? "Well, with the guys I'm hanging out with tonight, this will definitely be the highlight." He wasn't even very
smashed, he has a high tolerance. No excuse for saying something so ****ed up. We didn't HAVE to take him anywhere, we didn't HAVE to do **** for him. My buddy has a broken foot and shouldn't even have come out, I'm poor as dirt right now, and we still sacrificed and took him out.
                                <o></o>
Anyway, so they get this idea to actually go to this gay bar. Keep in mind that we're six STRAIGHT males. My buddy, for whatever ****ing reason, has
always wanted to go. Whether to laugh or whatever, I don't know. I pretty much berate him every time the idea comes up. I even suggested we just drop his *** off and go somewhere else. At this point I was super pissed because of that comment he made while chatting with Phil Dunphy. We all were upset, but as usual I'm the one who ends up saying stuff. So, omg, we drive to freakin' West Hollywood where this place was. Couldn't find parking so we pulled over to the side to discuss the plan. My buddy's sitting in the back seat of the other car and was super pissed for whatever reason. He gets out of the damn car and starts WALKING the half mile to this place. Mind you, this is West Hollywood, where there are a lot of people walking around, and this dude's drunk and doesn't know where the hell he's going. I say good, and suggested we go somewhere else. I said he'll get a taxi or get dropped off by his apparently-cooler friends if need be.
                                <o></o>
My friends decide that we're going to this gay bar, come hell or high water. You see, this is why I like driving to places on my own. If we decide something I don't want to do, I can just go home. But no, I'm held to whatever the hell they decide. I was pretty hell-bent about not going not necessarily because of the gay bar (although that was a factor) but because of the way my friend was acting and then everyone else going out of their way to bend over backwards for these stupid chicks that are there. I'm a man of principle.
                                <o></o>
One of my friends has a broken foot and is on crutches. I waited with him while others were in line so once they get in we can just go too. They get in and we try going in. The dumb**** bouncer goes to my friend "you can get in" then looks at me he's like "you cannot, get in line". I'm like "are you serious bro?" he's like "yeah" im like "my friends are in there already, i was just waiting with him he's got a broken foot" he's like "well, you have two working legs right? go stand in line". Being a SUPER dick. So I didn't want to be where we were anyway and was pissed bc of other **** from before. My buddy who has a broken foot, because he's actually a good friend, stayed out with me even though he knew the people we were going inside to see. I'm talking loudly about the bull**** bouncer because he was being a prick, and after a while he's like "alright, you cant come in either" to my friend with the foot.
                                <o></o>
After texting my buddy telling him to bring me the valet ticket so I could go sit in the car while my broken-footed buddy can go in and hang out with his friends and getting no response, we decide to just hang out until these people are done. This STUPID CHICK who I've never met, comes and tries to talk to the bouncer. Then she gets out and comes to me and my friend outside. She doesn't even INTRODUCE herself, and she starts talking to me. She's drunk. She grabs my hands and starts saying how uncooperative I'm being, how unruly I'm being. I tell her it's not the bar, it's the principle of how stupid it is that I'd have to wait in line like that. She's like "just forget it, it's your friends birthday". I ask her if she has any ****ing clue how horrible of a friend he's being, especially tonight. She tells me to get over it.
                                <o></o>
I speak with my hands so I have my hands moving, she grabs my hands again and starts speaking in an Armenian dialect I barely understand and goes "you're being really threatening and stubborn right now" She's like "you know, youre a crybaby, has anyone ever told you that?" I'm like "yeah
actually, they have." I was trying to hold myself because I'm respectful, I'm not going to go off on a dumb bitch trying to talk to me like I'm a 3 year old if I've never met her before. She said something else and I'm just doing my absolute best to hold off going off, and I'm like "if you're done, you can go back in now." UTTERLY UNBELIEVABLE how this chick could think she's so special enough to talk like that to someone she has no idea about and think that it'll work just because she's in law school and good looking and can get her way. Un-be-lievable. The audacity of that will boggle my mind for a long, long time.
                                <o></o>
After that exchange, this WEIRD GUY walking on the street comes and hits on her. She immediately says "oh, this guy's my boyfriend" and puts her arm around my buddy with the foot. He's like "Don't believe it. Make out then." My buddy, smh, doesn't. She kisses him on the cheek, and my friend's like "who the **** are you to ask such a thing? get the **** out of here". Dude looks at me and I'm like "yeah, I'd suggest getting out of here right now." So he mocks me with some weird facial expression and just walks off. WTF?!
                                <o></o>
Then later, my dumb birthday friend comes out and starts talking **** to me. Saying "just come in, who cares, you're being an *******" this and that, not letting me explain what had happened and what the reason was. Tried to say it was the principle, etc. Then he mentions the stupid chick who just talked down to me and I just start yelling at him to get the **** back inside this and that. A worker of the place comes and tells me to pipe down.

Anyway, they come back out when they're finished and I have a confrontation with the birthday guy. He continues talking to me, saying how much of a ****ing ******* I've been, how the girl was just trying to help. I say "**** her and **** you too". Kept trying to explain what REALLY happened but kept getting shouted down. Got heated, buddies got between us. He's like "I'm sick of your ****ing **** all the time." and I'm like "Yeah, sick of your **** too, like you wouldn't believe." Dude takes a ****ing KICK to my NUTS. I charge at him, try to swing but hold back because I didn't want to get into a full-blown fight. In public, cops come, waste of time and other nonsense. Not worth it. I walk off and just try to breathe it out, try to be disciplined about things. This ****in' guy, still trying to bait me. "If you keep saying youre gonna beat someone's ***, you gotta do it, or else no one's gonna ****ing believe you.", "c'mon dude, just cuz you're gay doesn't mean you can't come into the damn bar" (which makes no sense at all, given the circumstances), etc. Didn't give in.

So that was a mess. Utter freakin' mess. I knew it was gonna be a bad night going in and sure enough, that's what happened. <o></o>
Sorry for the long-winded story. I guess I'm not very precise when it comes to explaining stories that need a good bit of context. Also made it long because I figured it'd be entertaining. So over this Hollywood crap.

I'm just so sick of my group of friends letting **** slide. They're so willing to acquiese to anybody and any situation. They don't seem to stand for anything. I think I was doing the right thing by acting on principle. Why am I going to just be passive about something like what happened? I guess it's just my personality. It really, really sucks knowing that your main group of friends who are generally good people but you just can't relate to personality-wise.Been friends with the birthday guy since before hardly anyone else gave him a freakin' CHANCE and now that he's lost weight, lifting weights, and getting all this self-esteem (yet is somehow some manic depressive, confused punk) then throwing his friends under the bus is unacceptable.
