If any of you guys are a fan of Larry the Cable Guy, I highly suggest watching his Only in America show on the History Channel. I'm actually learning some stuff, and laughing pretty hard in the process.

I agree. Right now in calc ii we're doing one of the easiest things all semester, but on our online hw I have to round to 6 decimal places and have the exact right answer. When this answer comes from just plugging in a bunch of numbers into kinda complicated formulas and adding them all together using the scientific calculator that I m supposed to use for the class it is very easy to mess up. Long story short I just spent over an hour doing plugging in numbers to try to get the exact right answer, and I still don't have them all done.

Honestly does a two integer difference in the millionths place really matter?

Maths on high school became very difficult to me even though I liked them. Now I try to avoid them as much as Ican.

Despite how frustrating math can be at times, I'll probably end up doing a math minor just because it will be really helpful in getting a job if I major in finance or supply chain management.

I'm willing to sell the guy a wireless controller with it, but something extra..

How much do you guys think a controller is worth ?

He needed an answer quick, so I went ahead and told him I'd throw it in for an extra $15... I've had this stuff laying around for a long time and I'm just trying to get rid of it.

I had a tough time with my high school algebra I and II classes as well, mainly because the teachers were long overdue for retirement. I actually had one of them tell me 'If you don't' get it now, you're never going to get it" when I went in for help regarding functions. To give you an idea of how overdue for retirement these guys were, my mom had both of them when she went to the same high school nearly 25 years earlier. Furthermore, my senior year a new class called Algebra III was offered for people who'd taken I and II but weren't quite ready for trig (ideally it would've been a sophomore of junior class) and it was taught by another teacher who'd also been their when my mom was in high school. However, unlike the teachers I had for algebra I and II, he still cared about teaching his students (actually had the same guy for 7th grade math and really liked him). I got A's and B's in algebra III while I struggled to get C's in I and II.

Anyway, had another interesting Giant Eagle run today.

First the driver didn't even know the stop I got on at was a stop until I told him (granted it's a seldom used stop with the 2 flanking stops relatively close by), then after I got on he almost rear ended another car. Later when I was waiting in front of the Giant Eagle for the return shuttle, I saw a fire truck parked in the bus lane and there were a group of firement half in uniform (pants and boots but not jackets) coming out of the store with groceries and loading them into the firetruck. Guessing they were buying stuff to stock the fridge at their station, but I'm also guessing they weren't supposed to be doing that while they were clocked in and especially not with one of the trucks. Even if they were just on their way back from a call, what if there'd been another call?
