Never thought scrubs was funny. Futurama is dumb. The Office was ok, never felt I needed to watch it again. Never watched the others mentioned.

Scrubs and the Office are definitely dumb to me. Community was okay but after the first few episodes I wasn't particularly enamored by it. Haven't seen P&R so I can't comment, and Futurama is awesome.

Season two and three of Community are probably the best comedy of the past 5 years. I've probably run this comparison into the ground in the Community thread, but it really feels like a live-action cartoon with some of things they get away with.

Sarcasm Girl might be exiting stage left. I don't want to kick her off because I do really like her and she is smart and goofy and attractive, but she's a complete workaholic. She's an inn-keeper at a local restaurant/bed & breakfast and works full-time while going full-time to community college. She gets straight As, so she also puts in a lot of studying/homework time. I can deal with all of that and the tight schedule, but there's some things that have peeved me and I guess she'll just have to learn now for future reference.

On our last date, she excused herself from the movie to answer a call from work. That didn't really bother me as I guess she considered herself "on call." When we're walking out of the theater to the car she gets another call from one of her bosses. I guess the boss was checking in to see what the problem was from earlier and in the course of the conversation learned where Sarcasm Girl (SG) was at and told her that since other managers were working and on call, that it wasn't necessary for her to answer that call earlier. Whatever. That irked me a little bit, but its understandable and something to "sweep under the rug."

So, at the end of that date we make arrangements to go to a pumpkin carving and then to a concert on what would have been yesterday. I text her to see what time I need to pick her up a couple days before and then ask her if 7:30 will be an ok time to leave for the concert. Basically she bails as she agreed to house-sit and dog-sit for one of her bosses. On the same damn night. WTF. Then on Saturday the pumpkin carving was canceled (no bigg loss to me as apparently I was going to "meet people.") So, suffice to say I was a little peeved. What makes things worse is that I really dig this girl when I'm with her, but that's a big ****ing No No in my book. Before all this **** went down I told her to keep this Friday and Saturday open. We'll see if she communicates with me before then because I've decided I'm not going to push it unless she comes to me.

It's confusing in a way because I have no idea how exactly this girl thinks about me. With other girls I am fairly certain, but she's like a blank slate. Obviously she likes me, but I'm not sure what she wants out this thing considering how busy her life is with work and school. Then this whole "meeting people thing" (which while not her blood family is the closest thing to a real family she has apparently) seemed like a semi-big thing.

Whatever. November, I'm ready.

Exactly why I cant date someone who's so busy.

I'd much rather date a girl that's too busy than a girl that latches on and won't give me space. I've dated both, and while neither worked out, the end of the relationship with the busy girl was much more amicable.

It literally drives me CRAZY how busy my fiance is. I just hope she gets it out of her system now and can relax a bit.

I remember in her junior year of HS, she took 9 classes in an 8 period day. She sacrificed lunch and had a class after school.

Now she's taking 18 credits, has two on-campus jobs, and is the president of a club. She routinely doesn't get home until after 8, and works until about 2 finishing her homework for the night.

I haven't seen her in like a month, which is ****ed up. I'll go up there, but she's started realizing that when I'm there, she doesn't get work done, so we've agreed that when she's not so busy I'll see her. The ****ed up thing: I see her slightly more when she is HALFWAY ACROSS THE WORLD than when she is TWO HOURS AWAY.

Is it me or teenage girls dress slutier? Everytime I see more young highschoolers that have their skirts higher every day. I remember when I was at HS there were more strict on those things.

I've had a cough for like 2 weeks now but no other symptoms. No cold, no runny nose, no congestion, no wheezing (not asthma). Just a cough. Cough syrup/drops aren't doing jack for me right now.

Yeah, I would rather be with a girl that has things going on and doesn't need to be with me 24/7. I can tolerate a tight schedule so long as she can respect the time she's scheduled for me, but when that doesn't happen then that's a clear shot out the door.
